What would cause my 2006 Trailblazer to loose power going down the road?
If what you are saying it acts like it is getting no gas and hesitates almost to a stop the surges...It most likely is your mass air flow meter it is located between the filter and the intake air..they run about a hundred dollars at any auto parts store or you can get them on eBay for around thirty..the same one fits many gm cars..so they are available..it can be cleaned with mass air flow cleaner spray or brake cleaner spray. If you know anyone with a little mechanical knowledge it is not a hard job tajes about thirty min to take it off..Disconnect one wire and two large hose clamps you will see it..looks like it has two or three cross hairs and three very small sensors built on the criss hairs...just remove it and very carefully spray them with out touching them..and let it dry thoroughly and put it back on..should be good to go if not needs replaced...any further questions get back on here and ask...good luck..

My power steering is bad when I'm trying to park
These is a sign that the power steering pump is not producing enough power and it requires the rpms to be high to produce enough power. the first thing u should do is to check the level of the power steering fluid and level it out if its low. if the problem persist then the power steering pump or its components like the belts may be faulty and you may need a technician to check it out. thank you!
How many motor mounts does a 2006 chevy impala have?
There are going to be five. There are two that can be seen from the engine bay that are side mounts near the front of the engine. Underneath you will find one, referred to as the anchor, centered over a crossmember. The remaining two are just behind this mounted to the frame rails. If you are thinking about replacing them, I suggest doing this first from the top, then side to side on the underside. First loosen retaining bolts on all five, support engine with a jack and remove then replace each front mount in turn, leaving retaining bolts snug but loose enough for there to be a little play as you may have to wiggle things around a little on the lower three. Underneath remove and replace first one outer, leaving the retaining bolt out of this one, then the anchor, you will have to work the jack around and probably wiggle some things in order to get out the old one, then to seat the new one. Replace retaining bolt in first frame mount then work the other side. Tighten to spec starting with anchor, then frame mounts then upper side mounts.
Where is the Anti Theft Light on 2006 Chevy Impala?
Hi, Your remote for the car should disable the security system, check that your remote has enough power to unlock the anti thief. Basically if you can lock and unlock the car your remote should be fine. That's the first check. the next thing to check is the fuse for the security system. if the fuse is blown you will get the problems you are having OK. So, check the fuses. I am thinking that the fact that the trouble light is not coming on is a good indication the fuse is blown. Check the fuses. If this doesn't work you are basically looking at having it towed to the dealer. Good Luck!
