Replaced 02 sensor with code 131 and 171 now getting p0053

Code 53 is for a problem with the heater in the O2 sensor for bank one sensor one. It could be something in the wiring or you could have a defective sensor.

2005 Sierra 4x4 doesn't work, 4h light is on and stays on

My 2005 Sierra 4x4 did the same thing while running down the interstate on vacation. Scared me to death, thought it was going to shift into 4 wheel drive @ 80 MPR. Had to take to shop and they found a censor bad and they replaced it. Don't know cost, because truck was still under warranty.

A orange light with a picture of a engine comes on.What does this meen?

That's your engine warning light. This indicates that one of the engine's systems is at fault. This light could mean anything from a minor to serious fault, and so you should immediately stop the vehicle and examine all liquids, and connections to the engine. If nothing seems a miss, then drive the vehicle to a garage and have them run a diagnostic computer on the systems to display which fault you are dealing with.

2005 gmc when the heat is on the blower works but no heat at bottom

You must remove the dash from the tuck. You will absolutely need the factory service manual to get this done. You can download them for a small fee here

Gmc Sierra 2005 abs light is on and the brakes vibrate when stopping in the 10 mph range and under. Does this need to be fixed immediately?

The longer you drive with the shuddering the more damage you do to the rotors, most likely they will need replaced at this point. I wouldn't wait to terribly long. they may still be able to be turned and new brakes installed to fix it. They need to reset the codes after the repair though to clear the light. Hope this helps you out.

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 Z-71 - the interior dome light works with the dash switches, but won't work when the door opens. Why?

Is there a button by the headlight control switch? I recently found out that the dome light only comes on while the doors are open when this button is engaged

Your shop is lying to you. They would cause front tire wear, but not rear. murf427
