BLOWER FAN WILL NOT SHUT OFF EVEN WHEN TRUCK TURNED OFF
Sounds like the blower control module. Alo inpect the multi wire plug, they sometimes get damaged from the heat. The module and plug should be in the immediate vicinity of the blower motor, generally behind or below the glove box

Why want 05 duramax start
Are any light's lite on dash ? check engine ? There are a lot of electronic components on these vehicles.
Fuel Injector Control Module for one. Crank sensors,
fuel rail pressure sensor , engine computer (ECM) and you should have a professional grade scan tool to work on these vehicles . You could look on YouTube, there are a lot of guys that post auto repair videos there, even ones on diesel's with no start problems.

Odometer dims and goes out. it does this randomly
Usually when this happens you will have a loose contact (earth wire) and it may be hard to find. Try removing the lower cover around the steering column and, with lights on, reach up behind the instrument cluster and wiggle the wires.

Electrical Problems
no it does not mean if you look at a fuse that it is good you have to use a voltage tester across the fuse . If the power is there follow the wirring diagram there are relays because the two seat do not work you got a commun connection that is not feed or broken it is always that way 1 check if you got power 2 check down the line until you find the broken connection. I hope that will help you. PS patience

Dashboard Gauges Quit Working ?
The whole dash panel is one unit. You will need to check the wiring going to the dash panel. Check the connectors and make sure they are snug on the spades. The whole unit may have o be replaced. You can find it at autopartswharehouse.com for an unbelievably low price.

Both electric seats do not work ?
You can not always tell if the fuse is good, just by looking at it you have to test it after that you have to follow the steps in your manual .Like power to the relay ,the connections

Why does a/c only blow whil vehicle is in motion?
you have a problem with the heater/a/c controls there obviouly stuck on a/c you will need to strip out the control panel to see why the direction/vent , hot/cold , fan speed controls are not working , before doing this have you checked the fuses as there may be a seperate fuse for the control panel ,if this all checks out take to an a/c specialist as you dont want to mess around with a/c gasses etc
