The silver box you're seeing under the right middle row passenger seat is the onstar VCIM, not the amp. If your vehicle has an amplifier for the audio system, it will be: behind the right rear quarter panel (in the cargo area) on a regular wheel base trailblazer, or behind the left rear quarter panel (in the cargo area) on a trailblazer XL.

If they are the original ball joints you will have to remove the rivets on them. The new ones should come with replacement nut and bolts. You will have to remove the brakes, and move the steering knuckle out of the way (You don't have to remove the tie rod end). It isn't difficult, just time consuming. You can do it in the driveway on stands. Make sure you have a couple hours, and a case of beer.

5 quarts with new filter, always start with 4 and check. At the add line means you are one quart low.

Not sure how much the malibu weighs ,but I would think around 2500 lbs. the thing is the ability to stop and accelerate and how far you are going to tow it. I think you would be safer to use a 2 wheel tow dolly that a tow bar .and that way you wont damage the drive system on the malibu.Nice and easy is the key to sucess in towing
