I need to remove a headrest so that I can install
I have a 2010 Santa Fe and this is how I did it. Remove the back panel of the seat, there are 5 or 6 plastic clips that hold the seat back cover on, start at the bottom of the seat back panel and work your way upwards, pull the panel downwards and it should come off. Once the panel is removed, You will see a black cable running down the back of the seat. At the bottom of the cable, you will see a black plastic box with two clips holding it shut. Open the cover and pull away the cable from the box on the side that runs up to the headrest, once it releases the cable, remove the cable end from the holder inside. From there, just hold the headrest adjustment lock in and push upwards hard until it comes out with the cable.
2010 Limited 3.5 FWD. How can I find oil and coolant leaks?
Finding oil and coolant leaks can be difficult and systematic work on an unfamiliar engine and usually begins with a wash down followed by a short road test and a close inspection from many angles with a strong light and a mirror though those familiar with the engine can often make a fairly accurate guess at the (common) locations.
These days many professionals add a fluorescent dye to the coolant or oil and instead of searching for the leak with a normal inspection lamp they use an ultraviolet lamp...
How do I get the license plate screws out on a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe?
The screws are probably rusted / frozen and need some penetrating oil applied. You'll need to hold the retaining nut on the back side it sounds like it's moving. Sometimes you can use needle nose pliers to reach and hold it from the back while removing the screw/bolt, others you can use an open end wrench. Good luck.
2010 3.5l. How did transmission fluid get on top of the automatic transaxle?
Just guessing - 3 possibilities come to mind; spillage during filling or topping up, the transmission was overful and fluid has been ejected from the breather or the fluid has boiled and been ejected from the breather...
Your first call should be to someone who has dealer level diagnostic equipment to check the fluid level.
2008 hyundai sante fe chime wont shut off while driving, radio not working
both circuits are powered through the i/p junction box (fuse box) through power connector feed basically it needs to have voltage checked at door switch and radio power in see if has voltage, common supply is from I/p fuse box may need this replaced. if a door switch is not opening switch when door closed then this will make chime come on , most common issue is seat belt buckle gets shut in door and bends door panel at switch contact point . check this area first for dents.
Indicater comes on but dosent
