The electrolytic capacitors are probably not doing their job. Seriously, how old is this device? Recapping would be time consuming or expensive. The reason it shuts of when you hit the enter key is that there is not enough energy in the caps to supply the peak current needed for the operation.

You may be short of memory due to too many programs running in background. Google "windows task manager" to learn how to control startup programs. It is not too complicated.

Remove all the connectors to the main boards and then plug them back in, this can be caused by a poor connection between boards.

I think this Tv is not compatible with Amazon Prime video. You should confirm from Amazon Prime Support.

Windows 8 especially and sometime Windows 10 may have a black screen during an update for over 15 minutes with no indication that anything is happening. Try complete power down by holding the power key for 10 full seconds. Consider unplugging power for a few seconds after that as well. Re-connect power, press power button to turn on the computer then if the screen goes blank, give it a half hour before looking for another solution... it may come back to you.

Sharp does not natively support or provide a PCL6 driver for this device. That being said, another possible workaround to provide you with a PCL6 driver for this is to try the HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 x64bit. This driver simply prints direct to the IP address that the printer uses on the network. You may sacrifice a few special features of the device using this driver, but I've had excellent success with it and recommend trying it.

This sounds like the battery on the CMOS that keeps the configuration data intact has died.
