NEC-Mitsubishi MultiSync - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support
Hi, the side mounted USB
The
USB ports on the LCD is a USB hub. To use these ports you have to connect the input of the USB Hub of the LCD to one of the USB ports of the computer through a USB cable. You
need a simple USB Printer Cable, which is easily available from any Computer Accessories store. Below
is the picture of the cable. The normal USB plug (on the left) goes to
the USB Post of the PC and the square one at the right should be
connected to the LCD.
Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

There's not much that one can "upgrade" on a laptop.
You could install more RAM.
You could install a larger & faster disk-drive.
If you're running Windows XP, you could upgrade to Windows 7.
That's the only components that can be upgraded.
Power light stay green, but no picture.
disconnect all the cables except the power cable and then turn the monitor on you would see a test screen if it still happens your monitor is faulty and better buy a new one as repairing is usually expensive .

Hi I just bought 7 NEC Multisync LCD1550v monitors
You buy a new LCD Monitors, now still not working., if that new LCD Monitor is OK, then check your VGA Card, its inside the CPU maybe its broke or not connect properly inside. This are the cause of not displaying in your LCD Monitors.
If you here some beeps of your CPU then find out how many beeps and tell us here immediately.
