A hard disk drive failure occurs when a hard disk drive malfunctions and the stored information cannot be accessed with a properly configured computer.
Failure of a hard disk drive can be catastrophic or gradual. The former typically presents as a drive that can no longer be detected by CMOS setup, or that fails to pass BIOS POST so that the operating system never sees it. Gradual hard-drive failure can be harder to diagnose, because its symptoms, such as corrupted data and slowing down of the PC (caused by gradually failing areas of the hard drive requiring repeated read attempts before successful access), can be caused by many other computer issues, such as malware. A rising number of bad sectors can be a sign of a failing hard drive, but because the hard drive automatically adds them to its own growth defect table,[4] they may not become evident to utilities such as ScanDisk unless the utility can catch them before the hard drive's defect management system does, or the backup sectors held in reserve by the internal hard-drive defect management system run out. A cyclical repetitive pattern of seek activity such as rapid or slower seek-to-end noises (click of *****) can be indicative of hard drive problems.
Avoid using the drive or the problem computer immediately after the issue occurred.
Remove or unplug the drive from the CPU case and place it in the highly cleaned environment.
Ensure that the hard disk has any marks or 'hot spots' on the external controller board.
Sounds like you have dust and dirt blocking your air flow. You probably need to take the laptop apart to get to the CPU fan and heat dissipation unit. You need to clean out all the dust in there to let the air flow freely. Get a service manual to help you take the laptop apart or find a local repair expert.
Go online to the Virginia Wildlife and Parks site (It may have a different name) and apply for a replacement card. Here, in SC, They will give you the license number to used in the interim.
Hi! The problem with your laptop is maybe you installed a wrong Audio Card driver. You may want to visit Acer support center: Download Drivers and Manuals Acer Official Site .
From here you can download the perfect drivers for your laptop.
*Additional Info: Maybe you installed a wrong OS platform on your laptop. You can search if it is '64-bit' not '32-bit'.

Sorry I know nothing about basketball but it seems a crying shame to cut down the pole even if you can't find a replacement hoop and board.
I have faced many similar things and I find remembering the wise old saying "in order to get the right answer it is important to first ask the right question"...
I suggest you ask around those who should know such things - the coach at the local schools, local teams. If you don't get satisfaction then why not ask your local repair shop or fabricator if they can make what you need at a reasonable cost.
He is supposed to have said "............The Marines don't have that problem".
However there is controversy over it, as US Marines sources say the quote was known before Reagan reportedly uttered it.
The Ronald Reagan Library often receives queries about this, and while sure he did utter the words, they cannot give an exact date.
