Hi, had the same problem and finally worked it out.

Make sure the mode button works by changing between auto,heat,cool,dehumod and fan.

Put it on anything but auto

Hit the middle clock button so that it keeps flashing

Then simply hit the up down and the time will change

Once set hit the clock button and it will save

It could be you have occidentally changed the settings and switched those speakers off. If you can remember how to set up the speakers then do so. That should restore the settings. If it keeps happening there could be a fault in the system. But at the moment I don't think that is likely.

Some TVs require you to set it to external speaker in the menu and then raise volume as required.

You should be able to just connect the set via an HDMI cable to your DVD player for it to play. You then will have to select using the TV remote the HDMI connection the DVD is connected to. I do not believe the TV will switch to the DVD player automatically when connected via HDMI. My TV doesn't, though it's not the same as yours.

The passcode for pairing the sound bar and sbw100 is not published and not available. This is likely by design to not make this passcode available. If you want to pair using any other BT device then try entering codes yourself to see what may work.

There is to repair fix to a broken LCD screen. Only replacement with a new one can be done. The cost will come around 2/3rd of the total cost of a new TV; [including the price of the LCD screen + Service charges].
