Globe SP62P stand mixer won't raise?
This is a commercial mixer and they are horrible to work on. Heavy and covered in thick grease. Probably lost a screw or sheared a shear pin. Call your catering equipment service guy.
Why am i seeing grease drip from the head unit?
One of two things should cause this.
First, is the mixer really old, or has it operated in an extreme high heat area ( for example, next to a oven or stove)?
Grease is a mixture of oil and soap, and those two can separate from heat or old age, then the oil can leak.
Second, a seal or a bushing may have worn out, allowing the leak.
