Why my Gigabyte GA945GCM-S2C board GPU heat instantly

If it is not an accumulation of dust and if your fans are working properly and your ventilation is not blocked, that there was not a built-in cooling system for this integrated part makes me wonder what is going on. One would have thought it suggested such was not necessary. How old is the thermal paste in the computer? I would replace that before trying more desperate measures. Rather than presume the fan was working, I'd make sure that it was. Here are some causes and fixes: https://www.onecomputerguy.com/gpu-overheating/

Changed out atx power supply because computer not powering up. Do I replace with same motherboard with same or buy new Windows 10 Box.

ok, a simple hardware question only. w10 could careless about PSU. (facts) mobo is micro atx size 24.4cm x 24.4cm not powering up has many causes, even simply stuck in sleep mode. (power on button held for 10seonds and released last is 1 cure. of about 20 causes (up to) GA-F2A78M-D3H (rev. 3.0)or rev. 4.0????? rev is on bottom left of mobo, normal tower case. no case told the PSU is called ATX and all work here 500 to 750watts 24 pin power is normal but CPU power uses 8 pin power plug PSU.marked ATX12v psu lacking 8 pin, can use 4 to 8 adpater. vast here work, in real ATX case not micro cases. https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?d=psu+atx&N=4131%20100007657%20600014006%20600479294&isdeptsrh=1&Order=1 from you manual . 12vatx-undefined-undefined-0.jpg dead PC are all fans dead.> that is dead PC. the monitor must be good and connected the the VGA jack if using GPU card then it must connect to the monitor the BIOS screen must work or the PC is dead or GPU card is dead. strip the PC down ,any thing in the PC shorted will make PC dead. if strip down tests fail the PSU may be bad is its fan dead too? both power connectors most be connected above or PC will be dead.

I am using GA-945GCM-S2l Gigabyte motherboard for my desktop and Windows 7 32 bit OS. The hard disk 250 gb is not working. Will this motherboard support 500 gb SATA hard disc? Bhasker Raj Bangalore India

That motherboard has 4 SATA 2.0 slots. Should work well. You said "hard drive" so I am assuming you do not mean Solid State drive (SSD) I am surprised you are using Windows 7 with that MB

Hi I need help with motherboard?

5 steps. we can not see your PC at all and now assembled wrong. nor what PSU you have or your countries AC line voltage (wall) but here is worst case, relic PSU's #1 is line AC voltage first, must be set first, #2 master power. on/off 1= on #3 is line cord and the 2 DC cables, not optional ever. and last is the power button on/off on case wired to PC correctly no CASE told. steps-undefined-undefined-0.jpg

I've just installed the GA-X58A-UD3R

You may go on line to Tweaking.com and download their Windows repair program (Free Version) as this program digs deep into all areas of the computer. The reason I suggest that is because some of the code used to locate hardware and various functions are fixed. If the motherboard is new, the BIOs are up-to-date or more recent and they should locate the devices at boot time. Other than that, replace the MB as long as its under warranty.

Hey guys i hope you'll

There are free downloads of programs that will pair with your webcam. I would go to http://download.cnet.com/windows/ to get a safe download. But even Paint has an Acquire function where you can choose the camera as your device. Click File, "From scanner or camera". you open Control Panel, Devices and Printers, the USB printer should be listed. In some programs you need to define the acquire device as the camera, if it's currently got the scanner set.

Hi i have a gigabyte

talk to gigabyte.com is the cooler not from gigabytes is that it? so is this below? i guess you meant Model# GZ-FW1CA-AJS go back to air or upgrade to far better cooling this is not. cheap cooling is no good. will not last. also above is know for bad corrosion inside, rule #2 buy cooling only from makers that see spare parts for it. or is doomed. the manual shows no parts list for sure water level so needs new water tank I guess, why not ask maker for support no PC store sells parts for this custom case.(turn key is seems) or defeat that switch and just look at level at step 1 , before turned on. (that is what I would do, but sure back to AIR

Ga-x58a-ud3r the pwr led

that is custom system like mine a DIY build and custom unstated case., bought as new case only I bet of vast. and if built wrong it fails. the LED is where the POWER on LED wired wrong is it. the Power on led does flash wired correctly for sleep mode. if wired wrong is now the HDD activity LED, and should flash x58 is good chip set, pure intel it is usb3 chip NEC needs good driver so watch out there. pwr_on LED goes to pins 2 and 4 only on the header. page 30 in linked manual if is wired correctly the led is called MSG MSG/PWR (Message/Power/Sleep LED, Yellow/Purple): and Connects to the power status indicator on the chassis front panel. The LED is on when the system is operating. The LED keeps blinking when the sys-On is in S1 sleep state. The LED is off when the system is in S3/S4 sleep Blinking state or powered off (S5) so the manual told you blinking is S1 power state ACPI. other causes bad LED (power button) loose wires at mobo end of that or at power switch. mobo bad, here, rare as hens teeth if user did not jumper DC power to this LED pin and blow the driver transistor up. guesses wild does that. BIOS controls (you set it) soft power off , instant off or off. mode. no case told some are dead wrong here, some cases , use a 2 way LED for power, and is 2 LED wired in parallel and reversed to get 2 colors . and fails on simple mobo. not using bipolar controls to LED. NO CASE told so NO JOY , 10,000 cases made or more that the same but generic cases do work if is that, not OEM cases..

COMPUTER DOES NOT POWER ON

there are 20 causes. and tests. A 2002, 20 year old relic PC found in friends trash box sure. 20 years means caps bad. ok it and the 20 year old vga monitor too. no monitor told nor how connected it. a tech learns this and strips down the PC to mIN system no PC load out, told we cant see the endless array of parts folks can put in to any desktop. NO PCI-express slots, omg and no SATA drives allowed just trash old IDE, drives. long dead year 2001;era SIS 962/645 is useless now, no modern OS support at all. PSU to mobo is 2 cables not 1, 4p and 20pin, and 500watts (coin new and psu new) list. of tests. there is no mobo VGA port, com1/com2 yes no VGA so a relic PCI GPU card must be used, and default in bios is AGP an true horror that and is my wild guess why VGA is dead. CPU P4 Northwood, 0.13 m) processor DDR1. 3GB DRAM (Max)(DDR266/200/ 2.5v only !!! 1g x 3=3 Goal is Screen not dead and BIOS working.
  1. rule one is do not use AGP cards at all most fail there, or x4 rules and 1.5v rules and bios rejects most made. not in the makers AGP card QVL list (now gone to "do do" bird status)
  2. no USB devices connected
  3. no hdd (IDE) or dvd drives, cd drives connected, at all.
  4. 1 stick if ram in ddr bank 0 slot (low order)1GB or less.
  5. cpu installed , from QVL list at makers site. Northwood p4
  6. I will stop here because what happens next is based on above. results
  7. one more, the 2003 monitor has dead CCFL tubes and is useless as lead balloon.
why own any IDE (PATA) only mobo why own SIS mobo they are junk with zero support same as VIA and Nforce junk all at EOL. long ago. stuck in VISTA Land for eternity.but linux can run, do you like Ubuntu?
