I have a PH65A Makita hammer demolition and it start working for about 10 seconds breaking and after that the hammering power slow and losses it's power hit even that motor keeps working, why?

first ordernumber 931848 lubrication necessary it has its working hours on it. parts to change in priority 1 x 944-927 , 949457Z , 956-960 , 944-936 , 956-965 , 999032 , 956-996 , 944-928 the important thing is that the machine is airtight at the front so as not to burn the O-rings through the air and incoming dirt friction look the orings good and if the lock bolt on the front feel not smooth replace that also and every oil seal you can find its different what should neccesary but that the tool runs with thick and dirt beaten oil . solvent clean the hard metal parts and replace if there are grooves on or cracks Hitachi PH 65A Demo Hammer Parts

WHat kind of oil is required. Rotella #40 is not immediately available in Austalia. I suspect a standard30/40 oil may be ok. PLs advise.

No, that will burn you seals and o-rings in a short time 15w40 or that kind of Oil will go on like syrup no then you go for a new service kit of seals and rings . But the important things that are quickly to see . If its a heavy old large hammer 10 kilo or more with a heavy battle piece then use a hammer fat(grease)only if there is no oil fill glass present. in place, but if it looks that oil has seated and the parts are made for high speed, use at least a zinc-free hydraulic oil Because of the heat dissipation, which is really high because of the internal air compression. Oil for a high-pressure cleaner which have a one-time oil filling without oil filler cap which oil can also be used. Turmopol oil brand Hilti always good but is very expensive.

It stopped working. i've replaced the trigger switch and still nothing. what should i try next

Philip, I would take it back apart and see if wire got pinched or maybe disconnected, if it ran for a few seconds, it should be something simple.

The motor is running very slow

Check the brushes and commutator for bad contacts due to dirt, etc. Ditto for motor bearings and associated mechanism. If cleaning all has no results then the motor is bad.

Milwaukee demolition hammer when you pull the trigger it starts full rpm then with trigger still on slows right down anyone know what this might be thanks

RPM magnet which is at the bottom of the electric armature seat is loose and fused in the lower bearing seat of the motor enclosure try to do this with a small screwdriver and make the surface smooth again from the motor housing where small witplastic magnet a very tight space free to rotate, order a new magnet BUT make sure he is glued with a good glue and dried before reassembeld Milwaukee has often into trouble here.I'm pretty sure that you have a rotary hammer 500 S GOOD LUCK ! position 1236 MAGNETIC DISC (1) 4931426570 by us in Netherlands could be an other number in the states .

I need to replace the brushes. Don't know how the old one's are removed.

The carbonbrushes if they are short and you will replace them there is a long brown wire on one of the 2 brushes thats goes inside the handgrip but be careful there are 2 plastic pieces for the power licht and the carbon brush is on a electronic modul inside the handgrip by a sliding contact 90 degrees beware also on the black damping rings inbetween the machine and handgrip 4 pieces to protect vibrations . if you have open the handgrip i will say that you allways control the bearing at the end of the armature because its a very to small choosen bearing that is oft in bad condition i mean it , if it has its operating hours if the carbon brushes are short.but the handgrip must be opened for remove the brushes.
