Turn on dishwasher, goes to
My Bosch SHE4AM16UC was having the same problem of it going from active straight to clean, and there was water in the bottom making me think that there was either a clog or a pump issue. I took my shop vac sucked all the water out of the dishwasher including the down into the drain area for about 3 min until u think all the water is gone in the entire unit. Then I also took off the drain hose that was connected to either your sink or your disposal and held the shop vac over that area for about 5 min to get all the water and hopefully any clog that may be obstructing the drainage. Put the hose back on and hit start and it worked. So for me it was just a clog either deep in the hose or inside the unit. I hope this helps someone. TonyaB
Bosch Dishwasher SHE43C cycle takes too long
Domestic dishwashers work by taking cold water and soaking the dishes as the water warms. Then it gives a good wash at high pressure, drains, refills, rinses and then hot rinses to dry.
If it is slow because of slow filling, check the water pressure and also clean the strainer filters on the supply hoses where they go into the machine.
If you want speed, buy a small under-counter commercial machine. They fill with hot water, have a tank heater and a rinse tank heater and the whole cycle is 3 1/2 minutes. Glasses first, plates and cutlery next, and pots and pans last.
Seems to be a known issue!! Videos here with solutions

How to clean bosh dishwasher inlet water filter
Most of these units have a waterproof solenoid inlet on the hose. If yours has this you can pull out the rubber washer in the end revealing a plastic mesh cover. This can also be pulled out with pliers. It can be a bit stiff to take care not to muller it!
Under the plastic mesh is also a restriction valve which helps to slow the water pressure down. This has a little plastic shaft with a small rubber seal around it and can also be pulled out and cleaned.

Replace cover on Bosch Dish washer> Now a C6
I had the same problem after replacing the white panel on my Bosch SHE45M02UC with a stainless panel. I got the C6 error code. I called Bosch customer service twice and neither rep was helpful. One guy told me he didn't know what the C6 code meant. He suggested that I call a local appliance repair guy and he would know what the code meant. I replied, you mean to tell me you work for the manufacturer of the dishwasher and don't know what the error code stands for but a local repair guy that doesn't work for Bosch does? After all this frustration, I took the panels off and tested the dishwasher with no buttons. It worked fine! Turns out, each identical button isn't identical. Each one is labeled A-G. After putting it back together, no more C6 code! On a side note, try reseting the dishwasher. With the dishwasher on and door closed, hold down the cancel/reset buttons for 5 seconds and release. The disher should drain and reset.

Just installed a new control panel on my bosch dw silence plus 44-dba and no lights on display panel come on,i have tried all power sources to the unit and all have power the door latch seems to be ok
Hello. The control panel most likely wasn't the problem...the main control board probably was blown out causing the user interface to remain off. What was the unit doing or not doing that made you replace the control panel?
BIG TIP--if you had a power interruption (such as lights dimming in the house--called a "brownout") or a full scale outage where the clocks reset, the main board very well could have been damaged by the current surge when the power came back on. *NORMALLY**, if the appliance wasn't damaged immediately, 4-6 weeks after the event, strange things will start happening or not happening with appliances because chips on the the board were damaged and start to fail. I tell all my customers to check into WHOLE HOUSE SURGE PROTECTORS--you can buy them at Lowe's or Home Depot and, your power company might install them on your house for a little extra on the bill each month--money well spent!
