Is it possible to convert a wind-up watch to battery(quartz ?) operation ? Thanks. Unfortunately no, the only option is to remove the mechanical works and replace it with a quartz circuitry.

We have a 14 1/2" wood frame sterling & noble AA battery wall clock. Hands still move, even with new battery, it continues to run slow. Help Since this is a battery movement, replace it with a new one
