My phone touch screen isn't working. When I try to type on one key, another one lights up or the notification drop down screen comes down.

To clear all notifications
1. Open the Notifications panel.
2. Touch the Clear icon .
All event-based notifications will be cleared; ongoing notifications will
remain in the list.
TIP You can also swipe the notifications to the left or right to remove them.

To clear the call log - From the Home screen, touch the Phone Key (in the Quick Keys
bar) and then the Call logs tab at the top of the screen.
The most recent calls are located at the top of the list. Scroll down to
see older entries. Once you see the cal log press the Menu key. Bottom far right. This will give you the option to Clear all .

You could try to reboot your phone by holding down the power button & the home button simultaneously. That may help.

Is there a screen guard or pouch with touche the edges of the screen ? If yes , remove them and check .. Otherwise your touch screen digitizer has gone bad . You will have to change it .

The digitizer screen needs to be replaced.

Dear Jodinagy. Be sure that the problem isn't about the battery, but it could be even from the screen or the nap, try to by another screen and change it. But u said that it will not drop light up, so try that, or check your charge circuit, may be the charge don't get in easely or didn't, it happens for me; i've a nokia 3110c, the screen turn to black, and it does'nt change ubtil a change its screen.

You definitely have water damage. There really isn't much you can do to fix this. If you have a friend with the same type of phone, switch out the battery and see if it works. If it does, then you should call your phone company's tech support and see if buying a new battery will consistently work with your specific phone.
