I found my sony acid install disc but i lost the box and book. How can i get the product code

The only "problem" is Acid finding SampleTank 2 when I try to open projects created on xp / win7. Because it's 32bit it installed in (x86). The file path seems to be the issue (since "x86" is not in the file path on xp/7) but other IK apps open fine with xp/7 files and SampleTank 2 opens fine in new projects. if file path consistency is to be maintained a 64bit version is needed...?

Find the program in the RUN command then try to search the exe files of the SONY ACID MUSIC and install.

Either contact SONY, with your proof-of-purchase (sales receipt?),
or buy another copy of the software.

just got my serial number via my acct info.

You need to contact the manufacturer if you've lost your serial number. Provide proof of purchase and they may give it to you. Or, look inside the box or on the sleeve when you purchased your program.

i found the codes book in the product website

I would try Sony's Creative software website. Click here to access Sony Creative Software support. About half way down, in the middle there's a place where you can register to look up previous product keys etc. What you may be able to do is enter any other information you know into there from when you originally purchased the software, and then see if they give you a key. The other thing you can do, is contact them directly and see if they're able to help you by providing them more information.

Also, if the software is already installed on a computer you own, but you just need the key, go ahead and download Magical Jellybean Keyfinder. What that program will do is check your computer for any software installed on your computer that requires a key, including Windows, and show you the key. If Acid is installed on your current machine, or you're looking to move Acid to a newer machine but it's still installed on an older computer, try that software and see if you have any luck recovering your keys.

Good effort.. you wont get cracks or serials here. If you have bought a serial, then just email Sony and it will be resent to you.
