Vista desktop in't covering the screen
This typically means that you have your resolution set to a size that is not optimal for the monitor you are using. For example, if you have a modern 24-inch monitor that can display 1920 x 1080 resolution and you have Vista set to use only 1024 x 768 resolution, it will use only part of the screen rather than all of it. The way to resolve this is to go into the Display control panel applet and set the appropriate resolution.

I have one cd with windows vista home premium, and
You have to have a valid product key to activate it. The product keys usually come packaged in the box with the retail CD. If you don't have the box, then sorry but you will have to either buy another copy or find some other means to obtain a valid vista home premium license key.

How do I fix a Kodak printer 101-1904 error code?
According to all of the feeds I have just looked at, it is a driver error, so download an updated driver from Kodak.
It must be for Vista, no other driver will do. If that still gives problems, download iobit.com and run the registry utility.
There you are, that should fix it.

I loaded Windows Internet Explorer 8, and it
Hi I suggest you go to system restore but beware that some program installed prior to chosen date will not appear. To proceed, go to start menu, choose accessories, choose system tools, then choose system restore.
Another way is to run your computer on safe mode to fix some error in your computer because of faulty driver or multiple driver installed with the same driver or faulty installation of software that make your computer to run slower and appears some errors. Here how it works, just restart your computer and when booting press F8 and choose safe mode to fix the errors run your computer on safe mode. Then defragment your computer to fix some errors also by going to start menu, choose accessories, choose system tools, choose disk defragment. After finished, restart your computer and check if it runs faster that before.
If you have, systems back or recovery disk, install it by insert the CD/DVD to CDROM and rebooting your computer. Run the CD as installer and it will install the systems back up. It will go back your computer to normal before.
I hope it helps you.

On a Toshiba Satellite L355D-S7825,
Hi is seem like your hard drive is going bad,but you can repair it by following these steps:
Bad sectors can appear on hard disks, corrupting files and interrupting a computer's use. A hard drive's platen travels at up to 1500 rpm, the magnetic head hovering just 0.3 microns above the writing surface. With little room for error, a hard drive "crash" can easily damage valuable data. Luckily, the data can be recovered and hard drive "bad blocks" relocated to allow the hard disk drive to continue safely storing information.
Detect bad sectors using software. Windows' DiskFragmenter will detect and segregate bad sectors, while most anti-malware utilities will uncover malicious software mimicking bad sectors. Bad sectors are caused either by hardware errors or problems induced by software.
Step 2Relocate your bad sectors. A bad sector found in the middle of your hard drive can be relocated, or remapped, away from currently stored files and applications. While you will lose some space, the life of your hard drive can be extended. Two options for correcting bad blocks are low-level (formatting, for example) or high-level (data recovery applications).

Dvd driver disappeared from vista premium home
You will need to modify the registry on the system make sure that you have a system backup first.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
If you venture to the registry key above by doing the following steps:
- Click on the start menu.
- If this is a Vista machine in the search box type in “regedit” without the quotation marks.
- Maximize the HKLM and then go ahead and browse until you reach the key listed above.
- In the right panel you’ll see something along the lines of
“UpperFilter” and “LowerFilter” you want to click on each “filter” key
and hit delete. Click yes when it asks to confirm if you wish to delete
the key.
- Restart Windows.
- Let me know if this works.
