Optio 33WR SD Card Capacity

Just purchased a Lexar 32x 512mb SD card for my 3.2mp 33WR. I thought a card of that size would store 500 or so pictures of the highest quality. But the display indicates it will only hold 248 pictures. Am I mistaken on my expectations? Can anyone else who owns a 33WR tell me what their camera says the picture capacity is on their SD cards based on it's storage capacity?

Don't own the camera - but the figures indicate the 512 should hold a max of 250. Please have a look at the following: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/O33WR/33WRDATA.HTM

My camera the mercury cyberpix 2-210s only take 20 or so pictures and has a memory card of 8 mb and I don;t understand why.

Your Mercury Cyberpix S-210S has an internal memory of 16MB and can be expanded using an SD/MMC Card up to 512MB.Since the picture you capture using this 2 Megapixel camera has an approximate resolution of 1600*1200 and a size of approximately 400kB you can store only around 18 to 20 photos in an 8MB Memory Card.So if you want to store more pictures you have to insert a Memory Card of bigger capacity.Remember the maximum Memory Card capacity supported on your camera is 512MB.Thanks for choosing Fixya.

I have an optio33wr digital camer. The memory card accidentally got locked. How do I unlock it?

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

What is the maximum size sd card for a Pentax Optio A10? The 4 GB card is not being recognized by the camera (which I just got).

The A10 accepts SD cards, which max out at 2Gb. The 4Gb card is actually an SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) card, not an SD card, and thus will not work in devices designed for SD cards. Compatibility goes only one way--SD cards will work in SDHC devices but not the other way around.

Largest capacity SD card for Pentax Optio S5N

The maximum supported size is most likely 2GB SD Card. Cards with 4GB and more are following a new (incompatible) standard called SDHC (SD High Capacity), SDHC cards work only in devices specifically supporting SDHC. The Optio S5N uses the old SD standard where 2GB are the maximum size.

SD Card

They have not had a good reputation for reliability here, you might want to do a search on SanDisk. The consenses on SD cards seems to be Panasonc, SimpleTech & Lexar (32x best), in that order. Some (Pixy) have had good luck with th Ultra II, but several others have had SanDisks of all kinds fail.

Optio 30 SD Card Max Size

You can now get up to 2.0 Gigs (that's 2048MB) of storage on a MiniSD card and all you would need is a SD Adaptor. The following site has MiniSD cards that are 1.0Gig (1024MB) or 2.0Gig (2048MB) and they come with FREE adaptors! http://www.flash-memory-store.com/mini-secure-digital.html As technology increases so will the story size. They are talking about making MiniSD cards that are up in the 5.0gig (5120MB) area. Enjoy!
