IR port --> in AS just go to "file\connection settings" then tick in the checkbox "enable connection serial cable or IR to this COM port" and choose from the drop down menu "IR port" BT port --> go to the BT manager on your PC, then "advanced config" and click onn thee nail "local services" - double click on the "BT Serial Port" and you will be prompted to the "properties" window that gives you a drop-down menu where you can choose the # of the COM port. You can also edit numbers in the System REgistry, but this requires proper care. I think the foregoing is sufficient for you

SMS Inbox Disappeared

Hello Brian, The SMS folder dissapears most probably because another program interferes with it. The same happens on some HP's with camera, where this options dissapears from menu because of some user installed programs. In your case, it doesn't have to be a SMS - messaging related program, there are some compatibility issues and programs that apparently doen't have anything to do with messaging are causing this. You should first try a master reset (hard reset) (save your data first). However in some cases this doesn't help, even if the program that's causing the problem is removed, and you will need a firmware rewrite/update. In order to perform this, or if you don't want to risk performing it yourself please contact me on the live assistance for step by step instuctions. Good luck, Bogdan.
