Here is the perfect solution, : Guess what, that happened to my 30 minutes ago when i felt like playing my gameboy with pokemon emerald. This is an easy to solve problem, and it will work every time. This is a step by step procedure please follow the instructions one step at a time !! :::

Step one: Close the gameboy and take out Pokemon emerald
Step two: Blow into the bottom of pokemon emerald [to get dust out]
Step three: Blow into the place where you place pokemon emerald
Step four: Put it back in and test it, it the nintendo sign is all blury and weird, continue
Step five [Only do this if it still isnt working] Keep turning off the game boy and turning it back on
These problems are caused by damage done to the system or dust in the game cartridge.
If this hasnt worked,, Try it again :)

Well...ive turned on the game pak for pokemon emerald ..but there was only the gameboy logo...the nintendo logo didnet pop up like it usually does ..leaving only a blank screen that just says gameboy.

Easy fix: Take out the game and blow into the bottom of the game and blow into the place where you out the game into the gameboy, and try again, If it doesnt work try again and then turn off and on untill the Nintendo logo comes clear

Ive turned on the game but no response.it only says gameboy ,but the nintendo logo does not pop up leaving only a blank screen that says gameboy.

The Nintendo logo not showing up but the GameBoy one does means that it can't detect the game. Take the cartridge out and put it back in again. If that doesn't work, clean the contacts on the cartridge. As a temporary fix, you can blow into the cartridge (the bottom where the shiny metal lines on the board are) or you can clean the cartridge by using some rubbing alcohol with q-tips to wipe the metal contacts on the cartridge to clean it and let it dry for an hour.

Actually, the file you have downloaded is corrupted one, meaning that the rom is no more usable. You can download the pokemon emerald rom from the following link:

http://www.coolrom.com/roms/gba/14604/Pokemon_Emerald.php

After opening this site, please wait for 10 seconds and then you can download it by pressing the download button.

good luck!!!

Download to pc

You have to buy a certain device that transfers your gameboy to your pc; you can get it at Gamestop.
