how do you create system folder on Samsung yp-t10? that my problem too....
I had the same problem as you guys.
Try to follow the step I took to fix the issue 1)Go to: Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager 2)Now you should see the YP-T10 with a yellow exclamation mark 3)Right click on the device and click on uninstall the driver 4)Once done use a registry cleaner (i.e regseeker, regcleaner etc…) 5)Install Windows Media player 11 6)Reboot your computer 7)Update your Samsung software to “EmoDio” just search google for it 8)Finally plug your device and go through the windows install hardware ( Do nothing it should be done by the system as soon as you connect the device)
If with all this your issue is not solve – try to connect your device in different port location
Good luck with this
On the other side I am a bit disappointed with the device. The transfer of my music from Samsung App to the device is a bit slow and one track over for is not supported by the device even if all the tracks are MP3 format? I haven’t try video files – but I’ll see how it goes .. L

Upgrade Methods
If the product does not power on and shows any of the following symptoms, you may try the upgrade methods
in this chapter without having to disassemble the product:
- The product does not turn on when the power switch is pressed.
- The product powers on normally but no USB connection can be made.
- The product’s icons appear garbled or malfunction.
- Files are corrupted, or the product shows as a “removable storage” in Windows but cannot be accessed.
Firmware Upgrade Method
1. Download the firmware upgrade file to a folder and decompress it.
2. Check the contents of the folder that was decompressed.
3. Connect the YP-T10 to the PC.
4. Open the Removable Disk folder of the YP-T10.
5. Select the installation file in the folder that was decompressed,
and then copy the upgrade files to the Removable Disk folder
of the YP-T10.
6. Perform “Safely Remove Hardware”, and then disconnect the
device from the PC.
7. When power on YP-T10, power off after
“Image Upgrading...”, “AUI Upgrading...”
8. Power on again. After “Font Upgrading...”,
“Image Upgrading...”, “AUI Upgrading...” set will be power
off.
9. After the upgrade, go to “Menu” → “ettings”→ “ystem”→
“Firmware” and check the version.
If the battery power is low, the upgrade will not start. In this
case, you need to connect a USB or charging cord for the
upgrade to start.
plug your Yp-t10 with the usb, and then go to the samsung media programme and from there push the ETC next to the other icons on portable part , and list of files comes up. then press recorded files, press the file u want to delete and that's it
This drove me crazy, too! The trick is that you have to search the download section of Samsung.com with your very specific model number. You can't just use T10 or T10JAW just because that's the example they used on the website. For example, mine was YP-T10JAUY. Save the zip file to your desktop, then extract the files to your desktop (doesn't matter what folder name as long as you remember where the file are). Next, open a Windows Explorer window by right-clicking the "Start" button and select "Explore". Obviously, your T10 should be connected already. You'll see the T10 on the left-side window. HERE'S THE REAL TRICK: you have to get the T10 files to show up in the RIGHT side window. Click on the T10 to expand the internal folders (still in the left side window), then in the left window click on either "Data" or "Internal Storage"--which one you see will depend on whether you use Windows Media Player 10 or 11. Click on that on the left side and it should open the right side Explorer window to the files in the Data or Internal Storage folder. This is where you have to put the firmware. On the right side.
You can't drag-drop the firmware update files into the T10 in the left-side window. This is NOT clear in the firmware update instructions that you see in the new manual that goes with the new firmware. After you copy the firmware to the T10, you just disconnect from the computer and when you turn it on, it should upgrade the firmware.
Those YouTube "how to upgrade firmware" videos don't describe this...a HUGE oversight. None of the other various supposed how-to explanations said this stuff either. JEEZ! It's not that hard if someone would just explain it correctly! I wasted HOURS trying to figure this out. I hope it helps you.
