Integrated laptop Webcam Not Working

I am using pre-installed MS Vista Home Premium on my two months old Sony VAIO laptop. When I try to use the integrated & built in Motion Eye camera, I get the message: "No Input".

This appears to be a common problem for Sony VAIO users. Can you please help me with a working solution?

Strivinz : 'M' button became '0' whih means Numeric ON. (numeric : 0123456789) turn it off by pressing FN+Num lock.
And for your Operating system...Try using Vista Ultimate (works for my vaio vgn-s270b) or Windows 7 Ultimate (motion eye application might not appear > but you still can access the camera via devices and printers Section.

I installed windows 7 home basic 32 bit .. sony vaio vgn cr23g was pre loaded with windows vista .. my webcam is not working!!! plz help

Sony webcam no longer works with windows 7

1. The drivers for this Web camera may not be developed for Windows 7 64 bit by the manufacturer.
You will either have to purchase a new camera to be compatible with Windows 7 or Vista 64.
This is also true for your SD card reader.

VAIO VGN-AR630E Drivers for Vista Ultimate

Vista Home premium drivers will work perfectly with Windows Vista Ultimate. When installing Vaio event service and Vaio Control center make sure that you run setup file as administrator. Right-click the setup file and select option "run as administrator". By reinstalling utilities this way they will work perfectly well

select ur operating system if Vista Premium or Windows XP

Sony Vaio running Vista Home Premium has stoped

Sony Vaio is one of the most unreliable laptops known to man, and some known to monkeys. My suggestion- save everything you want on cds/dvds and reload whendoze. After that, send it back to Sony if you can.
