Login to your device and go to the wireless section. There you can set up a wireless password/key. Make certain you keep track of this password. Another thing you can do is turn OFF the Broadcast SSID that will make you wireless network invisible to devices.

I am a woman of ag 74 what should my blood pressure be

The older we get, the more likely we will have high blood pressure, still the acceptable range remains the same for everyone. You are in the range of "pre-hypertension" if your systolic pressure is 120 to 139, or diastolic pressure is 80 to 89. You are considered to have "high blood pressure" if your systolic pressure is 140 or higher, or diastolic pressure is 90 or more.

If your blood pressure is in the neighborhood of 115/70, you are doing great. :)

Have computers, nonfamily member computers, in the neighborhood, accessing my computer. In particular pirated music of which I've received a warning letter from my inter-net carrier. How can safe guard...

You need to set up a network password. The easiest is to set up WEP (wired equivalent privacy). Chapter 3 of the user manual (downloadable from http://kb.netgear.com/app/) will give you a tutorial and will walk you through set up. This will keep others from using your wireless access. Make sure that you record your network password for use with your other wireless units.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I am trying to add a password to my wireless internet connection (D Link Router), so it cannot be accessed by everyone in my neighborhood. I am a mac user.

You want to secure the wireless network.
Is there any computer connected to the router with the Ethernet cable?
If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router with the cable.
Check the IP address on the computer. Open the router set up page.
Once you open the set up page, you will find the option to make it secured

I have a wireless Netgear router. Everyone around

depending on your type of netgear router, the way you enter the setup is different. I use a netgear router and th emeens of access is to type in your web browser http://routerlogin.com/start.htm

Your internet provider does not have anything to do with your local security settings.

you will need to go to the wireless settings link to choose a security type. I recommend you to use at minimum WPA-PSK(TKIP) You will then choose a pass phrase of 8 characters. This will stop the unauthorized access.
You will be asked for the pass phrase when connecting to your network.
If you need any other help, please just reply.

My wireless router was working then the wireless and security light are now off. Wireless internet is not working

Someone in your neighborhood got into your router and turn it off, so they can get and use your internet connection. I would reset the router by the reset button, and right away put a password on it, and then use mac address filtering on the router. This will only allow your computer access to the internet.

Can you please help me set up password protection for my Lynksys wireless? Everyone in my neighborhood is using my service and it is slowing down my access.......

http://192.168.0.1/

Remember this address and/or write it down, this address is the common address for your lynksys.

When a popup comes, asking for username/password.
Username: Admin or if it dont work try Superuser
password: password

Then look for Wireless Setting > WPA-PSK(Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key) > Then on the bottom should say security passphrase/password (Type in something you will remember or only you will know) >Save settings/Apply and exit.

Now since you've changed your wifi, you need to manually delete and search for your wifi agian since the settings are changed.

If your using Vista: (64bit)

Start > Network > Network and Sharing Center > Manage Wireless Network > Highlight your Wireless connection ( Select Remove) > Add > Then go through the process of finding your wireless connection and you magically got back your protected wireless.

Hope this works.
