You need to add a Pre-Amp to make this functional. it can work, however, it's not really recommended to do this. The impedance levels usually don't quite match and can do harm to the receiver. Pre-Amps range in cost from 50 on up. They are abundant online. Hope this helps.

How to wire a Sadelta M3 to a Cobra 29 LTD Classic

I believe to wire a Sadelta M3 microphone to a Cobra 29 LTD Classic CB radio:

The Sadelta M3 microphone has four wires: white, shield (bare wire), red, and black. The Cobra 29 LTD Classic CB radio's microphone jack also has four pins: Pin 1 (Audio), Pin 2 (Ground), Pin 3 (Transmit), and Pin 4 (Receive).

To wire the Sadelta M3 to the Cobra 29 LTD Classic, you need to connect each wire from the microphone to its corresponding pin on the microphone jack. The white wire carries the audio signal from the microphone's element to the radio, the shield wire provides a ground connection, the red wire activates the radio's transmit function when the microphone is keyed, and the black wire is used for receive audio.
Here are the specific steps to follow:
  1. Cut off the existing microphone plug on the Sadelta M3 microphone cord.
  2. Strip about 1/4 inch of insulation from each of the four wires in the Sadelta M3 microphone cord.
  3. Connect the wires to the pins on the microphone jack as follows:
  • White wire to Pin 1 (Audio)
  • Shield (bare wire) to Pin 2 (Ground)
  • Red wire to Pin 3 (Transmit)
  • Black wire to Pin 4 (Receive)
  1. Solder each wire to its corresponding pin on the microphone jack. You may want to use a multimeter to verify that each connection is solid and that there are no shorts or open circuits.
  2. Once you have soldered all the wires, test the microphone by speaking into it and checking that the radio's TX meter moves as you speak. Also, check that you can hear audio through the radio's speaker when receiving signals.
  3. If the microphone is working correctly, use heat shrink tubing or electrical tape to cover the soldered connections and provide strain relief for the wires.
Note that some microphones, including the Sadelta M3, may have additional features such as a built-in amplifier or power supply that require additional wiring.

How do i go about connecting a dual wireless uhf microphone system to a yammaha rx-v683 av receiver

I can provide you with the steps to connect a dual wireless UHF microphone system to a Yamaha RX-V683 AV receiver:
  1. First, make sure that the microphone transmitters and the receiver are turned off and unplugged from any power source.
  2. Connect the receiver to the AV receiver using audio cables, such as RCA or XLR cables. The output jacks on the receiver should match the input jacks on the AV receiver.
  3. Turn on the AV receiver and set it to the input that the wireless microphone system is connected to.
  4. Turn on the wireless microphone system and set it to the same frequency as the receiver.
  5. Adjust the volume levels on the AV receiver and the wireless microphone system as needed.
  6. Test the microphones to ensure that they are working properly and that there is no feedback or other audio issues.
It's important to note that the steps above may vary depending on the specific wireless microphone system and AV receiver model

I have TX-SR503 onkyo receiver. I want to connect a microphone to it so that I can do a karaoke. The unit does not have a socket for microphone. It has a socket for phones. This socket does not appear...

The reason that jack doesn't work for a microphone is because it's a headphone jack. It's meant to send a signal out to headphones, and it doesn't work as an input. If the receiver doesn't have a microphone input jack (and it would be clearly labeled as such), you'll need to connect your mike through the auxiliary input. You may be able to connect with nothing more than an adapter to switch from the plug on the end of the mike cable to the RCA jacks on your receiver. The output level on some mikes may be high enough to drive the auxiliary input as-is. More likely, though, the mike will need a little boost to make it work with the receiver. The receiver needs a "line-level" input, which is higher than the output of most good-quality mikes. To get the mike up to line level you'll need a microphone preamp. There are many types from many sources, at a wide range of prices. Here's one I have used as an example.

You might also want to look for a small mixer like this. The mixer would let you combine your mike and music source into a single line-level output you could run to the receiver, and use the receiver just for the amplifier function.

How do i connect a microphone to pioneer model vsxd412 amp/receiver

You will need an external microphone preamplifier connected to the analog inputs with the inputs set to
analog.

Such units used to be plentiful, but are now rare.

One example of such a preamp is shown here

Shure wireless UHF microphone

Make sure the microphone and the receiver are still broadcasting/receiving on the same channel.
Check that all of the appropriate connections are right from the receiver to the mixing board are connected as well.
I hope this helps!
God Bless you!

HK avr125 5.1, no display, no functions.

Same problem. C901 on the vertically-mounted input board next to the power supply transformer was burned. Replaced with ceramic cap from RS with same specs. Still did not work. Talked to Jeb, great guy at HK tech support. He suggested that R901 would probably be blown and maybe 902 also. These are flame-proof resistors and do not show damage. Tested with multimeter and Jeb was spot on. Replaced 1w resistors with 5w (all RS had) at same resistance. Works great.
