Dishwasher problem Hi there i have a whirlpool DWF 415, the power button flashes green nine times then stops then flashes nine times again and will not start! Please help! regards sharon

Anyone got an answer to this, as I have exactly the same fault.

Dishwasher appears to switch on OK, then after a short time (20 secs?) the pump noise stops and the green light flashes - it seems to e a sequence of 7 flashes, then stop... 7 flashed then stop.

The sequence could indicate a fault detected?

Anyone know anything about these units from IKEA, made by Whirlpool?

We have the same problem. The dishwasher is 10 years old. In one of the German forums they said that usually it's because the sieve ahead of the membrane has a fine layer of sludge and the pump cannot pump out the dirty waste water. They said that you have to dismantle the sieve, clean it thoroughly, re-install it, and it should work just like it always did.

Hello, I have a Whirlpool DWF A10. The machine starts then stops after a short while and the indecator light flashes 7 times. What does this mean? Any body come across this?

DWF 415 Ikea Whirlpool Dishwasher has constant green blinking light. Drain pump works ok (as it will pump out a jug of water if I tip it into it!) but no water comes in. Cycle stops about 30 seconds after thre is no more water to pump. Any ideas on how to fix?

press back and forth between hi-tempwash and sani rinse several times to get all lights to come on if not then press sani rinse and heated dry back and forth several times. one of though combos will start the test mode

if it blinks 5 times then stops and does it over and over , replace the control board it is bad

is the cean light blinking 7 times and then repaeating?? If so this is a water heating fault and means that the computer sensed that the water temp didnt rise just 3deg in the last main wash cycle. If its not blinking 7times then repeat, it sounds like the user interface (membrane switches) have failed. Let me know more and i can help.
