I cleaned the food out of the filter/ chopper. I found a web site that showed me how to properly remove the parts to access where the food was cloging the intake. This is a necessary maintenance that will be required for every Kitchen aid diswasher and is not documented in the manuals. It saved me a lot of money doing myself.

although i dont have a lookup for your particular model number. if you remove the lower access panel you will find techsheet/troubleshooter. in it there will be section on "clen light blinking 7x" foplloe direction to put into test mode to clear the fault. belive its,,, heated dry/ sani rinse / heated dry/sani rinse. pushing htese buttons is what gets into test mode
