While you forgot windows os password, you can enter safe mode (F8 when booting up) to recover windows password while you forgot user account password, but when you forgot admin passwords, there's no way to change it, you should use utility to recover admin password. Last week, I forgot my Windows admin password. Last, I used Windows Password Seeker to remove the Windows password successfully. It's worth an attempt.

Forgot Windows XP Password? The first thing which you check is whether you forgot windows xp login password or not. When we install Windows, it automatically creates an account "Administrator" and sets its password to blank. So if you have forgot your user account password then try this:
Start system and when you See Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys Twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from "Control Panel -> User Accounts".
Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.
Windows XP and further versions also provide another method to recover forgotten Password by using "Reset Disk". If you created a Password Reset Disk in past, you can use that disk to reset the password. Or try free program called Ophcrack or Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0.

You can hack it with windows password tool. In order to avoid data loss on the computer, I recommend Windows Password Reset 9.0. Few days ago, I downloaded it at http://www.reset-windows-password.com/how-to-reset-windows-password.html I burned it to a Usb memory card. Boot up and cleared my password successfully.

If you have forgotten it, the only way to reset your admin password in xp is to reinstall windows

  • Clive Gray Jan 15, 2013

Apart from the one honest answer here, all the rest are simply adverts for products you have to pay for, probably from the vendors. This is something that should be stopped as most of these products are available free under different names.

How to bypass Windows XP password? We often meet the headache stuff that don't...

How to bypass Windows XP password? We often meet the headache stuff that don't know the Windows system password at the critical comment. How to do if you made a Windows XP password that you never be care of it? How should you do when your computer has parents controlled by the XP Administrator password? Or you need to borrow a friend's computer to carry out emergency work, but you don't know the admin password...Let's share some tips about how to bypass windows XP password.

First things first, try the guest account. Simply enter 'Guest' in the user name box, or click on the account labeled Guest. Sometimes people will have these account enabled without even realizing it, and many times they are left without a password. If this doesn't work for you, or you require a little bit more access than the Guest account provides, read on.

Next up is Windows XP's built in 'Administrator' account. This account is created during Windows installation, and is not accessible under normal circumstances. Many computers, especially those that come from Dell or similar companies, leave the Administrator account without password protection.

To get to this account, boot the computer into safe mode. You can do this by holding down the F8 key during startup, and selecting Safe Mode from the Windows boot menu. Once the computer boots into Safe Mode, you'll have access to the Administrator account. Things will look a little weird in Safe Mode, but don't worry, things will be fine when you boot normally again.

Once Windows finishes booting, try getting into the Administrator account, leaving the password field blank. If you're unable to get in this way, then there is a password on the account, and unless you can guess it, you're going to have to try something else, and you can skip the next paragraph. If you're in, then there's no limit to what you can do.

Besides, you can also take use of Windows password reset CD to remove Windows XP password if you forgot Windows XP password. Well, how can you get Windows password reset CD? Just download Windows Password Unlocker and a blank CD, you can DIY a Windows password reset CD in 4 steps.

In fact, Windows Password Unlocker can be used to bypass windows 7 password, bypass windows vista password , bypass windows NT password and so on.

How to hack admin password from guest in xp?

Nope. Must be an admin.
Lost Windows password:

  • Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode.
  • Login as other user (if other user is available) and manage users. Must be an administrator.
  • Reformat computer.
  • Use 3rd party software to remove password. Like http://www.top-password.com/reset-windows-password.html

There is a free boot CD called Hirens.

Hi expert m brother deleted the adminstrator yser

Recover all your files using a Linux Live-CD like http://pclinuxos.com/ - boot from it and copy the files to an external memory/harddisk.
Then just reinstall, nothing else can be done if the admin account has been corrupted/deleted.

(A)Can't login in as admin, guest only, tried safe mode no success (B)Recovery problem:error code 2

Try logging in as administrator in safe mode if you have not tried that already. Some of the newer spyware/malware has been disabling admin accounts and wiping out recovery points. I battled some spyware last week like that.
When you get into safe mode are you only getting in as a guest or are you able to get in as another user?
Let us know how it goes.

Lost my XP Admin name and password. So how do I hack it?

well hacking is illegal wether it is your own system or not i can not confirm.

best advise i can give you is see if the administrator account is on.

wich would most likely be :
username : Administrator
password :

yes password would be nothing.
if it works you can reset your password of your own account

good luck
