Philips hr 2830/B how to open the motor cabinet; motor runs but output spiundle dose not move

Debra that food processor is absolutely ancient, I doubt you'll get anything new for that model.

Unplug electricity cord from wall and disassemble bowl carefully. Clean dirts on moving parts. Be careful not to leave any liquid on any piece.



If motor output shaft rusted; use some rust remover on piece of cloth and clean it. Be carefull; don't use too much rust remover and don't let it go into motor to prevent electrical shock. Try to turn output shaft by hand. If it turns easly assemble everything back again. If it doesn't turn that means; motor might has some issues. There is no way to fix it but changing motor with a new exact one.

if you say the motor is running but no blades moves in the cup.it means the shaft which is connected to the blades and the motors break down.

so i refer u to open it and check which shaft part is broken,or take it to the mechanic.

HI.When the problem is related to themovement of one of its parts,the usual problem is in the motor.Have you tried to disassemble parts and try to look at the motor.It is not advisable to keep the motor running while the cover is open however for the purpose of observing what's the motors behavior while the system is running.Can you check the gears of the motor and check if the motors terminal gets the same amount if voltage reqiured.
