Your battery is probaby running out of power faster because of the iPods ae. You can either bring it to and Apple store and have it fixed or send it to them. There are also repairmen around that should be able to do it for you. There also is a site called ifixit.com which will sell u the new battery and tell you how to replace it but beware THIS VOIDS YOUR WARRENTY! It also has the chance of you doing something wrong and breaking it even more... So my suggestion is to send it to Apple or get it fixed by a certified Apple technician.

Hi there i just bought ASUS,X42 series laptop but it seems the battery can only last for an hour.please i want it to last longer, how many hours should charge cos it a new o laptop i just bought..thanks

The battery should be charged overnight ie for approx. 10 hours.
When the battery runs down then charge it up again until it is fully charged, you may need to do this several times until the battery reached it normal capacity.

How to recharge the Apple iPod Shuffle Silver MP3 Player

According to the manual found here: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/ipodshuffleuserguide.pdf

"Remove the USB cap and connect iPod shuffle to a high-power USB port on your
computer. The battery status light on the back of iPod shuffle turns on.
The iPod shuffle battery is 80-percent charged in about two hours, and fully charged in
about four hours.
When the battery is charging, the iPod shuffle status light is amber. When the battery is
fully charged, the light is green until you disconnect iPod shuffle. If you don't see the
status light, try another USB port on your computer"

Batteries also wear out from time to time, so if you find that it's not charging no matter what you do, it's likely that you need a new battery. Here's a link to more info on iPod batteries: http://www.apple.com/batteries/ipods.html

Ipod video 30GB model a1136

All you can really do is make sure the iPod is fully charged before watching.  Video files require more system reosurces than music files, so it is very possible that it will run down in a couple of hours or less. There are no longer-lasting batteries that can be used with this particular mp3 player.

Battery Symbol and "charged" stay on iPod screen

You could try restoring the software back to factory defaults and see if something is missing. Make sure it is fully charged before doing it.

Hold down on the center button while hold down on the menu button. The apple logo will appear. Your Ipod is now rebooted.

Is the new battery fully charged? Usually it takes 6 hours on a new battery.
