The song format is most likely wrong:

Song Formats for Mp3 Players Explained
By Tha Mp3 Doctor
I have seen quite a few threads around Fixya in which the stated problem is that the Mp3 or Digital Audio Player will not load the songs; will appear to load the songs but will not actually play them in the Mp3 player once disconnected from computer; will skip the songs on the player, or show only “0:00” for file length; songs “disappear” all of a sudden (although this particular problem can be caused for many reasons not covered in this article); your store-bought/burned/ripped CD’s will not load into your Mp3 player; or get the error message “File Format Not Supported.” All of these problems occur because the user is trying to download a song format that the player does not recognize. Every music file is in a certain format. The most common music file formats are Mp3, WMA, AAC, WAV, RA, etc. Each Mp3 player only recognizes a certain number of these formats. Every Mp3 Player is different. You will have to check your Mp3 player’s product specifications (specs) or user’s manual to find out which formats your particular Mp3 player recognizes. When you try to download or sync the wrong file format, you will get one of the errors that I mentioned above.

Or, it could be a "formatting" issue:
There are two ways to format an Mp3 player - one on the computer itself, and one in Windows Media Player. Both methods will end up erasing all the songs on the player, but the player will be "good as new" after that. Sometimes reformatting in this manner will override the player's native formatting and cause problems - this can be reversed in most cases by updating the player's firmware. Firmware upgrades are available from most manufacturers' websites.

WARNING: The following procedures will erase all songs on the player.

Check if the file system is NTFS. If yes, format it to FAT or FAT32. - Connect player to computer, double-click my computer, right click on icon of mp3 player and select format. This only applies to Windows-based computers.
You can also format the player in Windows Media Player itself:
Connect your Mp3 player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "name of Mp3 player here 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.

Hi there,

You have probably deleted all the formatting from it as well when you deleted the music. I did once, but I had a disk with it.

You need to find the software disk that came with the player.

SOURCE: have a JNC MP3 player model SSF-F7100PNK does not

You have to unscrew the back of the player (there should be one or two screws on the back) Then remove the battery. After you have done that, you should connect the player to the a computer and update the drivers.

I have a JNC digital concept power voice II

The part which shows the files to be downloaded from the JVC recorder does not open when the software starts up. It only opens when the recorder is detected attached to the USB port. I suggest 1. Start the software. 2. connect the JVC recorder to the PC with the USB cable. 3. Turn the JVC recoder ON. The recoder display says "PC link" and the files to download show up in Power Voice II on the PC. Michael C

I recorded two hours of music from the FM radio using my JNC SSFM2 series MP4 player. The firmware version on the player is BKSD01NB22_32 2007-10-30 9.1.52 2005-01-09 When I stop recording I am able...

The recording from radio that did not want to work in iTunes was made in WAV format. To solve the problem I went to settings and changed recording format to MP3. When I recorded in MP3 format from the radio with my JNC SSFM2 series MP4 player and copied it into iTunes on my computer, iTunes played it without a problem.

Apparently WAV format is used on PC and MP3 is used on Apple Mac.

Copy recorded music on Apple Mac and listen to it using iTunes

make sure that the actual file is saved on to your jvc first of all , so it can be transferred , because like some camcorders you have to finalize the video before it can be used on another equipment , then if that does not work , just download audacity or any mac recorder for free of the web and play the fm radio live via av leads in to your mac and record it live coming from your jvc make sure you save it as an acc( cd quality ) file for best quality or mp3

JNC Voice Recorder USB-350

It does not, and you cannot - I checked. I'm not being mean, but Vista is incompatible with MANY, MANY products, which is why XP has been the standard for over 5 years now. This voice recorder was made before even XP became the standard. You will need an older computer to get it to work.
