MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Hi, there
Since your unit has a CD player, the problem with both the turntable and cassette deck is probably due to the rubber belts that turn both mechanisms losing elasticity or have broken over time (or in the worst case scenario, turned to goo). I don't know your model manufacturer, but turntables often have a clip, or some sort of apparatus, that you can remove to lift the turntable platter up and off. If you can do that, you will be able to see what shape the turntable belt is in. For the cassette deck, more intricate disassembly is required. Replacement belts for both can often be found on eBay or other online sources.I found a video for an ion turntable that might have a similar belt system.

Hello Billy, obviously your STR-K502P, has problems in the main power supply, control you have to remove the cover and look for a fuse indicated as; F901 FUSE (6.3Amp / 125V) and fix it is burned, if so, before replacing it, you would have to get a lamp holder and an incandescent lamp of 200 watts, the old lamps that bring filament, and connect the cables of the holder lamp to the ends of the fuse holder, the lamp replaces the fuse (serial lamp), you connect the STR-K502P to the power network and turn it on, if the lamp turns on completely and stays that way, it is very likely that there are components damaged and are generating a short circuit, in this case I suggest you look for a specialized technical service
If, on the other hand, the lamp is turned on and off or the intensity of the initial flash is reduced, this would give a guideline that there is possibly no short circuit, you can test the operation of the STR-K502P in this situation, if you can hear it, then replace it the fuse, its value is 6.3 Ampere / 125Volts
Once this is done, do not use the STR-K502P, without first checking all the cables and connections of the speakers, corroborating that you do not have any short circuit in them
I hope you can solve it
Greetings Franco Dosil
