I want to change my wallpaper but cant - Acer Aspire One PC Notebook

Hi Friend,

In case if you are using netbook, mostly netbooks comes with the starter editions of the OS like "Windows 8 Starter" or "Windows 7 Starter", these Starter editions does not have the option/capability to change the Wallpaper.
So, if you are using netbook with Windows Starter edition, I am afraid you will not be able to change the wallpaper.

maybe you can have a try to reset your mobile phone as default setting.

you can't change your wallpaper if the size of your picture is above 20k
try another picture that below 20k.

Changing the Wallpaper in Windows XP:

1. Right click on the Desktop
2. click on properties
3. You will find a display properties box.
4. Click on Desktop.
5. Now Choose a wallpaper from below and change it and click on apply.
6. If you want to put your picture select the option called Browse in display Properties.
7. And select your picture to put as wallpaper and then click on apply.

As you have not mentioned the Operating System, let me provide the general information.

But, please do not worry, I'll also provide you the alternate options.

In all the Windows Operating Systems, the Desktop Wallpaper can be changed by using the Display Properties option.

The option to change the Wallpaper is only not available with these Operating Systems:

1) Windows Vista Home basic.
2) Windows 7 Home basic.

However, here's the key.

You may change the Desktop Wallpaper by using any third party Applications.

This also applies to the Windows Vista and Windows 7 Home Basic Operating Systems.

Check whether the Operating system is Windows 7 Starter edition , if you are having a Started edition Operating system you will not be able to change the wallpaper.

mmmm Try this: right click on desktop.goto properties.goto desktop tab. You should see a list there. Pick one.

FOllow da steps
1>go 2 menu
2>themes
3>select whichever theme u want
4>go 2 options
5>edit
6>Select wallpaper as default

go to themes>edit>custom wallpaer (or something same)>browse to your chosen wallpaper...
