Did you replace or add a filter drier at compressor replacement? It may have a partial blockage at the inlet to the evaporator.

SOURCE: What is the normal operational

why yes there is. Generally speaking, the head pressure should be around the "ambient +30" rule.
That is, measure the entering air temp to the condenser, say 75 degrees. Now add 30 to that and get 105 degrees. Look at a P/T chart and see what the pressure is for that temp which is about 253 for R-404-A.
The evap on a freezer leads the load so, as a general rule, the evap temp is going to be around minus 10 degrees to get a 0 degree box. Coolers are different. So, the pressure for a minus 10 evap is around 25 or so. But the unit has to be close to operating temp. If the box is warm, naturally the pressure is higher. And what influences the pressure is whether or not it's a TXV or a cap tube system.
If a TXV and no receiver, charge by subcooling. If a receiver, fill by sight glass. If Cap tube, charge by superheat.
Hope that answers your question.

Have a Kenmore Elite Side by Side and there is water running down the side of the fridge which appears to be coming from the water filter. Already changed it twice.

Did you flush the system after changing the filter? Air can cause water to leak if it not flushed after each filter change. It takes about 6 to 7 minutes to get all the air flushed out. I hope that helps...

Replaced cap tube and drier, vacuumed system, weighed in charge and still will not go bel 40 degreesow

Did you check the system for a restriction of any kind? Also, is the compressor working correctly? I'm assuming the reason you began working on the machine was because it wasn't freezing, but what was you steps in determining the problem to begin with. Please list what you did step by step so I can help.

Commercial freezer will not get below 25.degrees. Three new motors, new fan blades, new compressor, cleaned, and new defrost thermastat put on. Even caulked any gaps.

Why were all these replacements made ? Sounds like the Technicians have no clue.
When the compressor was changed was the drier changed ? Was the system properly Evacuated and Leak tested ? Please give all the details as this sounds to me more like shoddy workmanship and parts changers.

Would like to know if laying a feezer onit side would harm the freezer in any way Paul

Hi,
As long as the freezer is not plugged in while on it's side and after you put it right side up you wait an hour to let all the compressor oil drain back to normal nothing bad can happen.

Working on a t49 freezer it wont go below 30 , change compressor couple months a go worked fine. Now i change dry and regas with 22oz 404 and wont go down , my high side is 200 my low side is 18 . clean...

Sounds like a restriction to me.
Recover the charge.
Pressurize the system with 350 pounds of nitrogen pressure through the high side.
Leave it pressurized for 15 minutes.
Release the pressure through the low side.
Replace the filter drier again.
Pull a 2 hour vacuum on high and low side.
Recharge liquid refrigerant on the high side.
Let the system sit idle for 30 minutes before starting.
Check the evaporator fan motor as well as the coils. Use a good coil cleaner on the e-coil.

Freezer compresser short cycling pressures at 45 150 b4 shuting down and re trying, what should normal press, be? if i recover refrigerant the compressor runs longer and brings on e vap fans

You have a restriction in the system or a overcharge.
Recover the system.
Replace the filter/drier.
Pull a deep vacuum.
Recharge according to the nameplate charge.

Freezer side compresser short cycling sounds like compresser is laboring pressures are at 45.ls 150/hs before shutting down and re trying

Assuming you have checked that the defrost system and fans are working correctly. I suspect that you have a blockage in the refrigeration system. You need to flush and vacuum and replace the reciever drier.
