You can try a polishing cloth to see if this removes the discoloration, or very gently brush it with a toothbrush and mild soap ( very little water) if this does not help you will need to send the watch back to Bulova to their service center. 1-800-228-5682 is the Bulova service center phone number, call them for further instructions. You need a special tool called a case opener, if you flip the watch over you should see 6 square slots on the outer rim, this means that the back case is screwed on and probably has a water proof seal, keep in mind there are different sizes. I suggest you check ebay for watch tools, you might find what you are looking for.
