Which NEC system is the Dterm Series i connected to? Normally you change the ext name in system programming, but I need to know which system it is.

NEC Dterm Series I, through internal calls my phone flashes notifying me that I have a call coming through but it doesnt ring. I have tried the volume key ^, that didn't work. Can anyone help me?

Press the "Speaker" button and enter 728 on the key pad. Then enter the correct time.

This phone works on different NEC phone systems.Elite,IPK, 2000, 2400. Each speed dial code is different in each system. what system do you have

If you are listening to internal music on hold, it is done at the PBX. A general user can't change it.

• Press Feature, 9 and #
• Use dial pad to enter hours and minutes
• Press Recall to change Am / Pm
• Press Hold to change Date
• Press Recall to change Day of the week
• Press # to move cursor to Date
• Enter Date
• Press Recall to change Month
• Press # to move to Year
• Press Feature button to save

NEC doesn't call it the "Dterm 80 manual," but that's it. It's titled "Electra Elite IPK II Multiline Telephone User Guide."

This works on the series E phones. It may or may not work on the series II.

1. Press the Speaker key (do not use the handset).
2. Dial the Name Assignment access code and wait for the special dial tone.
3. Using the key pad spell the name. Press each number until the letter appears.
4. When the correct letter is displayed Press the HOLD key. Pressing the HOLD key will lock the letter in place and advance to the next position.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 continue to spell the name.

Pressing the TRANSFER key will change the current letter to lower case.
Example to enter the name “Pat” press:
