I cant send sms through my dirty sony ericsson T630

Check that the centre number is the correct one for the service provider.
Also in the message settings check that it is set to Message send as text. Not as Fax, Paging or E-mail.

I can send text messages but I cannot receive messages. My phone worked fine until yesterday and I don't know what has changed to stop it working. I have not messed with the setting or anything. The message centre numbers are correct

you don't have to do the complete master reset..this happened to me yesterday and i did 'reset settings'. it works as well and you dont have to move any of your files. :)

you go to massage settings in that you select "message send via" for this you select the text mode.for mms massage you set the configuration setting for that you want to call to your customer care

if you havent changed the code from the original the code should be the last four digits of your phone number
