Text and graphics not printing complitely Half Image and Half take printing from HP 1020 printer. If I give Print command only two or three line print come on paper after that four to five line black again two or three line print with half image.

Try another cartridge as it sounds like your drum is bad. If you measure the distance between the start of two sets of print I can tell you exactly what is wrong.

Called "Junk Print"...Check USB cable, Check USB port dry solder mounted on printer mother board., remove & re-fix farmatter board.. If not solved replace formatter board. If ur technically sound replace USB port mounted on board..

Hi, Clean the Paper Feed Rollers with wet cloth.Then go to start-ControlPanel-Printers-select Hp1020 printer-properties-features-change the Paper Type as PLAIN PAPER.
press and hold the green button for 5 seconds to generate an internal test print... does it print? If it does its a driver issue... if it dosent check your toner ctg remove and reinstall
I've printed images over 500kb. Can you print a small image? If not, perhaps the driver is the problem.
If you're trying to send a text file of IPL commands to the printer, set up a Generic Text printer driver, to to send the file as ascii characters instead of as a graphic image. You can set this up in addition to your Intermec driver.
Go to Printers and Faxes, Add Printer, Next, Select the Port, Select "Generic" Manufacturer, "Generic / Text Only" Printer, and give it a name like "Text". Cycle the printer power to clear previous attempts, then print the file to this printer name.
The 1020 Has Known issues printing PDF files. The HP LJ 1020 is a HOST printer with NO SUPPORT for PS (post script) or PLC commands. Most users end up printing the PDFs as images. That was not a solution for us and we trashed our 1020 and went with another brand. Good luck.
