Hello,
My family had given me a brand new bottle warmer.
I don't know how to operate the unit, because I don't have a manual for it. I misplaced it.
This unit functions as a warmer and a cooler. when I clikck the button, it stays down for a few minutes, but the pops back up. The bottle is not warm.
I want to know, do I need to put water anywhere inside the unit?
Thank you for your help.

If they got it at a store, return it as defective. It should be simple to operate, manual or not.
Also the store may be able to give you a copy of a product instruction sheet. You don't say what brand it is.

I don't know what it means, but I found that unplugging the warmer, waiting a few seconds, and then plugging it back in fixed the issue. I don't know if it'll do it every time, but it worked this time. :)
You may view the manual here. I don't know about getting a replacement remote. You might want to click on the "Live Help" link on that page to ask Sony (Sony now owns the Aiwa brand).
Ice container, measuring containers, and baskets: Dishwasher-safe (top rack only).
Measuring containers should be placed in a dishwasher basket. Or wash in warm water using mild liquid soap. Rinse with clear water.
Bottle Warmer unit and removable cooler: Always turn OFF and unplug before cleaning. Wipe surface of unit as well as inside of cooler and cooler lid, and inside of warming chamber with a damp cloth or sponge using mild liquid soap. Wipe with clear water. Air dry. Do not immerse in water. Do not use scouring pads, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these could damage the unit.
Warming chamber (optional): Mineral deposits (usually white in color) may form on the inner surfaces of the warming chamber and can cause damage to the unit. To remove them: 1. Unplug the unit. 2. Remove the basket, and wash separately as indicated above. 3. Pour 2 oz. vinegar into the warming chamber and let it stand for an hour or two (longer if necessary). 4. Pour out the vinegar and rinse the chamber two or three times by pouring in, then emptying out, 3 or 4 oz. of plain tap water. Do not immerse the Bottle Warmer in water. Wipe dry or air dry.

Mix one sachet of citric acid* (10g) with 200ml/7oz of water. Pour solution into the empty warmer. DO NOT place a bottle, jar or cup into the warmer when de-scaling. Close the lid of the warmer and programme the warmer to run with 310ml/11oz of milk from frozen. After the warming cycle has ended, leave the solution to cool for 30 minutes before emptying the warmer and rinsing with tap water. Wipe the inside and outside of the warmer with a damp cloth only. OR: Pour 100ml/3.5oz of vinegar mixed with 200ml/7oz of cold water into the warmer. Allow liquid to stand in the unit until any limescale has dissolved. DO NOT place a bottle, jar or cup into the warmer when de-scaling. DO NOT start the warming cycle. Empty the unit and rinse thoroughly. Wipe the inside and outside of the warmer with a damp cloth only.
Couple of things to try:
- If you just emptied the waste cartridge then you have to take the bottle back out and clean the insides as well. The sensor sees the toner on the walls and still thinks it?s full. FYI as typical the manufacturer recommends replacing the bottle with a brand new one.
- If not that then you may have toner covering the optical sensor. Try blowing the area where the waste bottle attaches to the printer with canned air.
