there is most likely something wrong with the battery so i would suggest just getting a new battery for it.

Have you tried using another charger? use another battery? if this does not fix the problem please find a local electronic repair shop or service center near you and let them take a look to determine what is the actual problem..

yes you can start the psp. psp wont directly start the game. you have to access it by opening the memory card data

didnt i already try to answer this, gosh ok man if you have a 1000[phat psp's] it doesnt have a usb charge option

so since your not telling me ehat version you have, its in system settings and if it not there for your 2000 or 3000 psp it could be the firmware,

so make sure your looking correctly, look in system settings and its one of the top options called usb charge set to on,

now if its not there then check on the bottom of your psp where theres a barcode sticker, if you see PSP-1000 then you cant recharge it cause it doesnt have the feature

When you connect the PSP via the USB, does the orange light power on? If you are using the standard USB cable and attached to the top of the PSP, from experience, it needs at least to have a little amount of battery power. If not, it will not totally power on or charge. You need the A/C adapter to charge the battery pack.

okay.. what version is the psp? is it a 1000, 2000, or 3000? (it will tell you under the psp, next to where you plug it in to charge on the upc) at the end it will say psp(1, 2, or 3001) my psp 1000 did the same thing...

its either the spinner in the psp itself is to blame, or the circular peice in the umd is loose... or it could just be the lens is dirty...

umm try cleaning the lens, if that doesnt help, and its under warranty, take it back.. if it isnt, then take it into the repairman

did u format the memory card from the psp? if yes then remove the memory card and then try to start the psp if still not starting then remove the battery umd and memory card from psp and leave it for a day and then try inserting only the battery n make sure that thee is enough charge left on the battery
and if still the problem persists then plz tell me when u connect the charger does the charging indicator glow ?

i think that skype doesnt use a camera when it is on the psp
