How to install psp version 6.20 on a psp 3000?
If you are already above this firmware, it seems you are out of luck. A friend with a modified PSP could make you a pandora battery, but with the PSP 3000 you have to be extremely careful not to brick it. I suggest, if you want custom firmware, selling it and getting a different model of PSP, or looking up some files/readmes on QJ.net.

Psp not detecting battery
Sounds like you might need a new power board. I know videogame911 does service PSP's your best bet might be to send it in to someone who can tell you exactly what the problem is, specially if you replaced the battery and still have the same issue.

How can i install vlc in the psp
Programs like PMP VLC are not officially supported by Sony on the PSP. To install them on your PSP, there is a very involved process of installing a custom firmware on your device, and this is not recommended, as Sony will not support this software and it is considered to break your end of the user agreement that you made when you first started using your PSP.
This aside, it is certainly possible, and there are a lot of resources out there on the internet to help you figure out how to do this. Keep in mind, though, that the process of putting custom firmware is not only frowned upon by Sony, but also may ruin your PSP by "bricking" it, or causing it so it no longer functions at all.
