Check if the white spots are well defined square pixels on the screen. If they are then you may have pixel failure.

  • After turning on the projector, press "+" and "-" buttons on the control panel simultaneously and release the buttons when screen goes blank.
  • Press "+" and "-" buttons again to exit the diagnostic mode.
  • While in Self-diagnostic mode, the screen will run a seven-color-cycle test as following: "Red--> Green--> Blue--> White--> Watchet Blue--> Dark Green--> Yellow." Ensure that the colors of the test pattern are correct.

  • If you believe it's dirt then disconnect from the power and undo the screws underneath the unit. lift the cover over the front of the machine and carefully remove the pcb to get at the optics. don't touch and glass bits with your bare fingers. clean the optics bits as necessary with a camera dust blower bellows. best of luck.

Fix a lot of white spots on mit65dlp serial wd65737

The white spots are pixels that are burned out. They will just gradually get worse. You will need a new screen or just replace the whole TV. Probably buy a new one for what it will cost to get a new screen put in it.

How do I clean my stormbuck boots from Timberland? The store did not know

Considering everything that we might step in during the day, it's a wonder that we bring our shoes into our homes at all. Cleaning our shoes not only gets all that grime back out the door, but it makes the shoes look better and last longe
    Instructions Things You'll Need:

    • Shoe brushes
    • White vinegar
    • Soft cloths
    • Nylon bristle brush
    • Pencil erasers or fine sandpaper
    • Leather cleaner or saddle soap
    • Leather conditioner
    • Waterproofer
    • Shoe polish
    • Shoe polishing cloths
    • Baking soda
    1. Clean smooth leather shoes by first removing the laces and giving them a vigorous brushing with a shoe brush.

    2. Clean salt stains from shoes by mixing equal parts white vinegar and water and dampening a small cloth. Use the cloth to scrub the stained area. For suede or nubuck, use a nylon bristle brush.

    3. Use leather cleaner or saddle soap to clean the leather with a soft cloth. Pay particular attention to the seams.

    4. Clean suede or nubuck with a pencil eraser or fine sandpaper, then rub with a bath towel to bring up the nap again.

    5. Apply leather conditioner to all leather shoes, taking care to use the correct kind for smooth leather or suede. Conditioner keeps your shoe leather soft.

    6. Waterproof your shoes.

    7. Polish your shoes to help protect them and to give them a clean-looking gloss.

    8. Deodorize your shoes by sprinkling a generous amount of baking soda into them and shaking the shoes to distribute it inside. Let stand overnight, and then shake the baking soda out

We have a savin 4035sp copier and the automatic document feeder (on top of the machine) doesn't work. We don't have a service contract on it anymore - any suggestions?

Yes that helps. The most common cause of what you describe is a dirty or worn feed roller and belt. What I would suggest you do is get a cloth or very sturdy paper towel and some windex/glass cleaner. Take the cloth and spray an area on it with the glass cleaner. Open the top cover on the document feeder where the documents are fed in. You will see a grey colored roller called the feed tire. You can lift it up almost verticle and clean the tire by rubbing the damp cloth across it's surface. Just rotate it a bit as you clean so you get the whole surface clean all the way around. You may notice that the tire is a bit black and as you clean it, it will turn more grey. This is normal. You may also notice a black spot on your cloth from the dirt coming off the tire. While your there you can do the same for the feed belt which is kind of below the tire. It is like a small belt. Just kind of hold the belt while you clean it and then rotate the same way as the tire. Once done just lay the assembly back down, close the cover and this should solve your feeding issues. If not then you may be due for feed roller, feed belt and separation tire (the more white foam type roller)replacement.
Good Luck and please give me feedback if this works for you.

    White spots in corners

"It's referred to as 'flashlighting'. It's a common problem in LCD/led as the driving factor is lighting pushed through pixels to create the picture. What you are seeing is a spot where the lighting is passing through unscathed or overpowering around the edges since this is an edge lit tv.

Some TVs are worse than others even if they are the same model, size and even batch.

This can be caused by many reasons... You have 2 options, return and/or exchange it at your local store if still in that window. Or you can call the tv manufacturer to see if it is out of their allowable tolerance levels.

Remember some flashlighting is still within their specs so even though you may not be happy with it the manufacturer may not fix it.

Many people find some relief by turning brightness down, contrast down and some TVs allow you to adjust back light levels. If this one does then make sure it is not on high.

For more info on this I would go to hidefjunkies.com as it has tons of great info."...Also,"take it off Dynamic mode is the first step. Then put it on something like Standard or Movie. This will not fix it permanently, but will give you a better experience." (I hope this answers your question...if it was ME,I would take th darn thing back,if still within warranty period.)

Sony 60" LCD projection TV has yellow screen discoloration

I would suggest to try to get this TV fix while still under warranty. Normally the manufacturers give one year.
In regards to the discoloration, there is not much you do but to let the Sony authorized repair center knows about it so they can fix it. Ask them if their work is guarantee as well for how long.
    Good Luck.
