I have a Mustek Bearpaw 2448TA Plus scanner and having bought a new PC with Windows 7 - it won't work. New PC won't recognise the original installation CD. Help please

this is 2448TA plus, not f***ing 1200CU, i broken my scanner with this driver, thank you VERY MUCH

Mustek Bearpaw 4800ta proII need Vista/Windows 7 driver

Download from HERE (33.7 MB) or HERE (79MB)
These drivers are for Vista.
If you need them for Se7en - in setup.exe file properties point "Install in Vista compatibility". My Se7en accepted...

Here is the link for the drivers for your scanner.

Hello, i've edited winxp 1200f driver for win7 http://webfile.ru/5359778. (password: 1200f)
1. Use regedit to change product name from
Windows 7 Ultimate to Microsoft Windows XP in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
2. install mustek1200f winxp driver
3. plug 1200f to usb
4. use win7 edited driver.

Drivers for the bearpay 1200f can be found on this page: http://www.mustek.com.tw/apprg/listdriver?LID=2&PRODUCTID=SFamBear1200F
Unfortunately, they do not list drivers for Windows 7. Perhaps you can use a legacy driver with Windows 7 to make this device work. You'll probably have the most like with the XP driver.
