hi have you istalled the correct software that came with it. if you have then it could be that the tracks you have put on it are in wrong format. you can change the format by using search engine and type in change format you need to change them to mp3 also delete whats on their and start again if you use something like limewire you can get tunes for free and after downloading them store them in file then you can drag and drop them onto your mp3
1. install the drivers from cd which came along with the player 2. check the USB adapter cable 3. Check the message dialong whenever you connect your USB cable to ur computer on the taskbar. 4.if you get message " one of the usb device connected cannot be recongised" then the problem with the Player adapter controller 5.your computer USB may be malfuntioning 6. check for the drivers installed. if not install drivers from the installation diskette thank you
Sony esupport says the track is damaged and has to be deleted and then reloaded - assuming you've got the track saved seperately in another format like mp3
Follow these steps-
- Open the Sony Walkman from "My Computer".
- Open the folder inside, then delete all the "DAT" files.
- Open the second foler which is inside the first foler and delete all these files.
- Close that and then open up "SonicStage"
- Now delete all the files from your library, but, DO NOT delete them from your computer.
- Now import all the songs again and it should pick up the device and start to transfer with no problems.
I have done this with my Sony Walkman and it now works.
