The problem is the drum belt is either off the drum or broken. To access this area to see the cause you will need to remove the back of the dryer and everything is right there.

open washer and check the DRAIN MOTOR PUMP , it could be clogged , inspect , remove any debris , replace and try again , AJ

May be the filter inside the filler hose;s are clogged. Take the off the back of the washer and clean them out.check the faucets you never no. good luck DFD

If the belt and the motor are OK, then tell your friend to check the motor coupler, the MCU (motor control unit).

I was having a similar problem but my dryer was about 5 years old. There are a couple of rubbery, sticky belts that wrap around the dryer drum. One of mine had come off the drum and was balled up, wedged between the drum and the dryer wall. It wanted to spin, but this "belt" was keeping it from doing so. I'm not sure why or how it happened, but I removed the portion that was gummed up and now it works fine.

your belt is probably broken, or your motor is bad, the motor and belt not only turn the drum, but also the fan that moves air out of your dryer so if it cannot move, the dryer gets hot and it thinks this is because the lint trap is full

Try cleaning the filter as when this gets all clogged up the water doesnt drain thru the pump

more than likely that your timer dial has a fault on it to replace your timer dial is alot if u need the 90 degree wash then you really are better off buying a new washer just as cheap to do it this way sorry for the bad news theres nothing you can really do sorry yet again m8
