Hi, I believe that one can have the coating stripped off, and re-applied, however it would be expensive. If you wish to pursue this avenue then have a search on the 'net for suppliers that can do the task.
Otherwise contact the manufacturer and they maybe able to assist you. link below.

They are peeling inside. Only had 3 years. What do I do?

bakers use black steel trays in which to bake bread
they are only covered in butter to stop sticking so if you follow the same procedure it will be alright
the covering that is coming off is probably the non-stick teflon coating which medical evidence proves not to be good for us as it breaks down with heat and age and is basic carcinogenic in nature
Look at all your old non stick pans and ask yourself , where did all the covering go?

I have the porcelain coated pans and the kids burnt chilled cheese and just can't seem to get it clean now

You can use spray-on oven cleaner, such as "Easy Off" or any similar store brand. Do not use oven cleaner on Aluminum pans, pans with non-stick coatings, or pots/pans with plastic or rubber handles. Wear rubber gloves when working with oven cleaner. It is a very powerful cleaner and can burn your skin.
  1. Put the pan in your empty kitchen sink.
  2. Spray it on generously with oven cleaner.
  3. Leave it overnight, 8 hours or so.
  4. In the morning thoroughly rinse and wipe all the areas you sprayed, including the sink.
You should have a clean pan and a clean sink. Refer to the oven cleaner's label for further instructions and safety hazards. Choose the type of oven cleaner that suits your needs. In my experience, "Fume Free" oven cleaners take longer and don't work as well. Seemingly, the more noxiously fumed cleaners, ie ones containing Lye (Sodium Hydroxide), work better and faster.
This works for porcelain coated pots/pans, stainless steel, steel, glass, etc. Do not use oven cleaner on aluminum pans, pans with non-stick coatings, or pots/pans with plastic or rubberized handles.

I want to serve three kinds of soup in my Rival roaster oven with the three pans. Must I put water in the large pan that the three small pans rest in? Must i put water between the large pan and the...

Your Owner's Guide for the Rival 18 qt. Roaster Oven with Buffet Server can be found here:

http://www.rivalproducts.com/manuals/MANUALS/RO180BR-C_43_18972586.PDF

Refer to page 6 for complete instructions.

You do not add water or anything below the roasting pan. You fill your roasting pan 1/2 to 3/4 full with water, place in the empty serving dishes, then preheat at 350 degrees until hot (about 1/2 hour).

Then fill the serving dishes and reduce heat to 250 degrees. You may need to adjust heat and more hot water if necessary.

Go to epinions.com, type your product and find you are not alone. Besides, as there is no cure to baldness there is no such thing as a perennial non stick pan. All coatings invented eventually succumbs to the wear and tear produced by temperature changes, contact with food and related chemistry, detergents, scrapping, etc. Consider the possibility that some of that non stick material may be ingested unconsciously.

Using a Farberware 12 pan coating comming off

non stick coating are volatile and have a short life span depending on the frequency of cooking and washing which wears it out if you are a keen amateur cook/chef my advice is go for HARD ANODISED which is russian space technology in your kitchen or classic copper pots/pans but they are costly,
to help preserve your non stick 1. do not wash straight after let it cool down, 2. always use plastic or wood utensils.3. be gentle,
hope it helps.

I would NOT reconsider replacing the pan with one coated with Teflon™ - - what do you think happened to the coating that disappeared? I would avoid getting more of it into my food if possible - see the following links.

http://www.naturalnews.com/021059.html

http://tuberose.com/Teflon.html

I recommend using non-stick sprays or other shortening/oil treatments to act as a "release agent". Perhaps a little more work, but far less potential for ingesting PTFE (the chemical that is Teflon™) which is having it's safety questioned.

If I can be of further assistance, or if you have questions about any of my response(s), please let me know before rating me.

If this solves the issue, please rate it accordingly. My goal is to earn a "FixYa" rating from everyone I help.

Bread Machine non-stick starting to peel off

Since your machine is only about 6 months old, it should still be covered under warranty. I'd contact the manufacturer. (Contact information should be in the instruction manual). The teflon coating is just a sprayed on coating. Once it starts to peel, it's not safe to use them. It becomes hazardous (possibly eating it in the bread).

It sounds like you've taken care of the pan as it's supposed to be. If this was an older machine, I'd suggest ordering a new pan. You can find them on the internet quite easily.
