The best programming instructions for your scanner are in the factory manual that you can download and print, at no cost, here:
http://www.uniden.com/pdf/BC92XLTom.pdf

You can find a comprehensive database of active frequencies in your area (they're not codes), and a lot of other useful scanning information, here:

I NEED TO PROGRAM FREQUINCS ON MY BAS CONSOL UNIDEN BEARCAT175XL SCANNER AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO SAVE THEM TO THE MEMORY

If you already have your codes, go to first channel hit Program, then insert Frequency and hit enter. At least that's how its done on my Pro 97 and all the other scanners Ive owned in the past. Try downloading your manual if you don't have one. Its easy and its free. It will tell you everything you need to know about your product. Good luck.

Programming the BC248CLT is fairly simple, and detailed instructions can be found in the factory manual that you can download and print here:

http://www.uniden.com/pdf/BC248CLTom.pdf

What you can program and what you can hear will depend on your location. Many communities now use trunking systems and digital (APCO-25) systems, and your scanner is not compatible with either. For a comprehensive database of active frequencies and systems in your area, visit:

How do delete a frequency code from my scanner i know how to program but dont know how to take a frequency off thanks

Just program 0.0 (zero point zero) into a channel to clear the existing frequency. Also, programming a new frequency into a channel will overwrite/delete the previously programmed freq.

How can i program my scanner i've got the codes but dont know how to program it

To enter a known frequency (they're not codes) into your scanner:
- Power the unit ON
- Press the MANUAL key
- Enter a channel number (01 - 30)
- Press MANUAL
- Enter the frequency, including decimal point (e.g., 438.065)
- Press E

More detailed programming is outlined in the scanner operating instructions, which you can download and print here:

Radio Shack Pro-82 Scanner

when on the scanning part push the scan part again and push the prog buton that is under the lower arrow key and push it again so it will go to a different (blank channel) . you will know when it you are able to prog when the word prog will be on the bottom of the screen then go to cityfreq.com to find the codes for your area and put them in and then press enter. after you do that press the prog button again and it will move to the next number to program a different on when you get the desired amount of frequencies in your scanner just push scan and it will run through the entered codes.. Or if thats not the problem then on top should be a bank of numbers and andd you have to push the number of what bank you want it to run through at that time.
