According to the Owners Manual, there's no way remove the top covering the fan. Just clean with a damp cloth and then wipe it draw. However, before wiping it with a damp cloth, you may want to try blowing out the sections of the grill with some canned compressed air with a straw nozzle (like you clean your computer with). Or use a vacuum cleaner with a hose and brush attachment. After doing that, wipe with a damp cloth and then a dry cloth.
If you need a copy of your Owners Manual, you can download and print it from the following website:

If it's like my previously owned Hunter 34357, you can remove that grill and then the fan for easy cleaning.
I used 2 small, flat blade screwdrivers and insert them under opposite outer edges of the rotating grill and gently pry the grill up. If you work each side a little at a time, you will hear `pops' as the locking points release their pressure. You may have to work around the grill at a few points before it comes up far enough to pull it the remainder of the way out by hand.
You can now wipe down the fan blades and the upper housing. If you decide to remove the fan, simply grab firmly as close to the center of the fan blade hub as you can and pull straight up. Be mindful though, some of those plastic blades edges didn't always get their flash deburred from factory. To reinstall the fan, look at the fan motor shaft and the underside of the fan where the shaft goes in, they're keyed. Push back down firmly until it's fully seated. You should be able to see the top of the metal shaft in a tiny hold on top of the fan to judge that.
Hope this helps.
