We have a 6-year old Whirlpool Senseon "Gold" dryer that really never worked very well. It heats clothing too much when using the Low setting. Yesterday we had a load of clothes in the dryer set at Low and the dryer just kept running well after it should have shut off. We had just returned from a vacation so we were pre-occupied with other tasks. When we went to check the dryer, the laundry room was like a sauna! The window in the room was all fooged up and water vapor was running down it and the dryer was so hot we could barely touch it! What is wrong? This has happened before, always when using the LOW setting.

Thanks Oldfixer! Joe did check the vent hose and found that it was not securely attached to the back of the dryer. It seems to be working OK now!

Whirlpool LTE6234DQ3 stacked washer-dryer

If your Whirlpool LTE6234DQ3 dryer is not drying clothes properly on the automatic/permanent press cycle, there are a few parts that may be causing the issue: Moisture Sensor: The dryer's moisture sensor detects the level of moisture in the clothes and adjusts the drying time accordingly. If the sensor is dirty or faulty, it may not be able to accurately detect the moisture level, resulting in clothes not drying properly. Try cleaning the sensor with a soft cloth and see if that resolves the issue. Thermostat: The dryer's thermostat regulates the temperature inside the drum. If the thermostat is faulty, it may not be able to regulate the temperature properly, leading to clothes not drying properly. A multimeter can be used to test the thermostat for continuity. Heating Element: The heating element is responsible for generating heat in the dryer. If the element is faulty, the dryer may not be able to generate enough heat to properly dry clothes. A multimeter can be used to test the heating element for continuity. Ventilation: Poor ventilation can also lead to clothes not drying properly. Make sure the dryer's venting system is clean and free of blockages. It is recommended to have a professional technician inspect and diagnose the issue if you are not comfortable with checking and replacing these parts yourself.

I have a Whirlpool Gold senseon Model number GeX9868Jq1 I can feel the heat inside to Dromm but when I push start it just clicks It's a electric dryer

Unfortunately, it sounds like the motor, since you aren't hearing it run. Motor turns the drum by way of a belt.If motor is running, but drum not turning, it would be the belt... I would also say door switch, but then the heating element wouldnt be heating up. Slight chance it could be the control, but I doubt it. DW

Whirlpool Senseon dryer control panel won't work

Could you please explain the problem in depth for me? Not sure what you mean by the control panel not working. Is it getting power? Do you have lights on inside the dryer (if it is equipped with it)?

Our Whirlpool Senseon Dryer stopped heating. It's

I had the same problem. I replaced the thermistor, heating element and another part and still didn't correct problem. i finally had a friend come check it and believe it or not it was the 30 amp fuse in my fuse panel of the house.Come to find out the dryer will run and everything works like it should on 1/2 of the 220 plug but the other half runs the heating element. Both fuses must be good. I replaced the 30 amp round fuse and it works and heats perfect. I hope this helps you and saves you some time and money.

Clothes not getting dried

Are you sure that the duct is clean and free flowing? If the duct is partially blocked the dryer's efficiency drops dramatically. I would double check the duct at both ends and clean out as required - air flow is very important - with the dryer on - go check the air coming out of he duct outside - if it is very forceful - then the problem is elsewhere - however if only a little bit of sir is coming out - your all plugged up!.
