Re: I have a switch Dlink (DES-3026). All the status LEDs...
DES-3018 / DES-3026 - A solid green LED will indicate a valid link at 100Mbps, and when blinking, indicates the port is currently transferring data. A solid amber LED will indicate a valid link at 10Mbps, and when blinking, indicates the port is currently transferring data

also try a different port/cable if it is a gigabit switch an orange light means it is running below the speed. I.e. 10/100 if it is working correctly the lights should be green.
This switch is a plug n play device. No need to configure anything for basic use.
If you want to go for advance settings, You can log into the switch via webconsole and then providing the username and passwords you can loin and do the advance configurations like VLAN settings, Speed/Duplex settings, QOS settings etc

There are 3 different LEDs on the front of this televison. The TIMER will blink green. The STATUS will blink orange and the LAMP will flash red or orange depending on if there is a failure or if the lamp timer is showing over 5000 hours.
If I answer your question directly and the status is blinking a steady orange light, then you have left the side filter cover or the front lamp cover off or they are loose.
Also holding the menu and device buttons together until the timer light blinks will reveal a code that will help in diagnosing your problem. Goodluck.
You would need two separate systems, because all Modem, or Router sets up the address with DHCP, now you can't have two DHCP servers together on a single network , Unless in differing IP, address's and Subnets, and even then you will have problems, you will have to have it set up from, two modems, to a Switch/Hub, even then you would only be able to use them one at a time, having to "Drop off" one, & "Re-connect" to the other.

u r saying after restarting of switch it is working fine.
is ur switch is getting hit while it is hangup
leds are starting blinking ??
if switch get hit u need to send it to service centre and replace card.
if switch is hanging while all LEDS are blinking this means one of the network calbe is getting short. u may need to search the faulty cable and restart the switch
