SOURCE: Electric Hydronic Baseboard Heater Under Electrical Recepticle

Hello,
I believe you interpretation of the code is a bit skewed in that the fundamental concern is to not route power cords over a heat source which might cause the insulation on that wire to exceed its rated operating temp and fail. The heaters themselves have shrowds over them so there are no exposed surfaces hot enough to melt wire insulation and when you think about it ..2000 watts disipated over a long baseboard section is not that hot. If I were you, I would go ahead and install them and not worry about the warning.. The warning also removes any liability from the heater manufacturer in the event something happens.. Common sense would dictate that you wouldn't intentionally drape power cords all over the heaters... Just use common sense and not worry about it..
Regards,
Rick

SOURCE: Lakewood space heater thermostat source

If it is a Ksd31 thermostat you need, you are in luck. I found what I needed for my model 5600/7 on ebay. The store Larksining sells the for as few as five/pkg in various temp. settings. I got 5 ea. in two temp settings for less than $11.00 USD with shipping from Hong Kong.

Lakewood oil-filled radiator heat wattage?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Microwave Ovens category!

It all depends how cold you are .Start with low, turn it up if still cold.

When you turn them on from cold you can hear about 5 minutes of snap, crackle, pop until the oil comes up to temperature. After that this unit throws out a good amount of heat on the 900 watt and 1500 watt settings.

I have been using my heater in the garage to prevent my water pipes from freezing. It just quit working today. The lights do not light and it will not heat any longer. What happened and what can I do to...

Have you checked the circuit breaker or fuse for the circuit that your heater is on? It's possible that you had something else come on that, combined with the current draw of your heater, popped the breaker. If that turns out to be the case, turn the heater switch from high to medium or from medium to low so that you're drawing less current.

How do you turn on a comfort zone cz7007? has a knob that turns up to 7 and 2 red switches right next to each other.

On the comfort zone CZ7007, the #1 rocker switch is for 600 watts, the #2 rocker switch is for 900 watts. If you flip 1 and 2 both to on you will get 1500 watts. Which is 600 and 900 added together. There is no down position, but only on and off.
